Can I use this charger on AGM or lead-acid batteries?
No. This charger is specifically designed for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries and is not compatible with AGM, gel, or lead-acid chemistries.
Is this charger safe to leave connected to the battery?
Yes. The charger automatically stops charging once the battery is full, preventing overcharging.
What type of connector is used on the DC output?
The charger comes with M8 ring terminals pre-installed on a 1.2m cable for easy connection to your battery.
Can this charge a 36V battery bank made of 3 x 12V batteries?
Yes, if your battery bank is configured in series to 36V and all batteries are LiFePO₄.
Does the fan run constantly?
No. The built-in cooling fan is temperature-controlled and will activate as needed during charging to prevent overheating.
What happens if I connect the charger incorrectly?
The charger includes multiple safety protections, including reverse polarity, over-voltage, and short circuit protection.
How long does it take to fully charge a battery?
Charging time will depend on the battery capacity. For example, a 36V 100Ah battery would take approximately 5–6 hours to fully charge from empty.
Can I use this in a sealed or enclosed compartment?
It is not recommended. The charger requires ventilation and airflow to operate safely. Install in a well-ventilated area.
