A roller cover turns an open ute tub into a lockable, weatherproof storage compartment — tools stay out of the rain, gear stays out of sight from the shopping-centre car park, and the tub still opens fully when you need it. Electric retractable, manual roll-top and aluminium tri-fold each solve the problem differently, and the right one depends on how you actually use the ute.

Electric retractable covers open at the press of the key fob and are the choice if you get in and out of the tub every day. Manual roll-top covers are simpler, cheaper and mechanically bombproof — nothing to fail electrically on a remote trip. Aluminium tri-fold covers give the strongest load-carrying platform on top, ideal if you want to stack a rooftop tent or fold-flat awning on the cover itself.
