Everything to mount and finish a GME or Uniden UHF install properly. GME fold-down antenna bases (black and stainless), 63mm wrap-around bull-bar brackets, gutter Z-mounts, 12V power leads, TX3500S hand pieces, magnetic mic mounts, 2W extension speakers, mic-extension leads and the XRS-RJ45RND pass-through adaptor — plus Uniden DMK7700 mount kits and our own fabricated 78 Series roof-conversion aerial mounts.
GET THE ANTENNA IN THE RIGHT PLACE
Bull-bar mounts sit the antenna where a big tree branch or a garage roof takes it out; roof mounts give the best range but need the right base for the panel curvature; gutter Z-mounts are the classic Troopy answer. Pick the mount that matches how you use the vehicle — town daily, tag-along tour, or full-time remote work — not just the one that looks tidiest at the counter.
GME MOUNTS, LEADS AND ADAPTORS
The GME fold-down base (black or stainless) is what we fit when the antenna needs to lay flat for garages and shopping-centre roofs. The 63mm wrap-around stainless bracket is the tidy solution for round bull bar tube; the gutter Z bracket suits 76/78 Wagons and Troopys. Add the GME 12V power lead, TX3500S hand piece, 2W extension speaker or mic-extension lead as your install demands.
78 SERIES AERIAL MOUNTS WE FABRICATE
For Troopys running an Alu-Cab, Alu Innovations or Mulgo roof conversion, the standard gutter mount doesn't clear the new roof. We fabricate stainless aerial mounts to suit each conversion — the Mulgo mount is a 12-degree stainless bracket that sits the antenna vertical when the pop-top is up. These aren't off-the-shelf parts anyone else stocks.
RJ45 INSERTS, MIC CLIPS AND SWITCH BLANKS
The GME XRS-RJ45RND pass-through adaptor lets you route the RJ45 mic lead through a body panel or bulkhead without cutting the plug off. RJ45 UHF switch inserts fit an OEM switch blank so the radio face vanishes into the dash. Magnetic mic mounts, Aerpro mic clips and Uniden DMK7700 in-dash mount kits round out the shelf so a clean install doesn't stop at the antenna.
FITTED AT OUR PERTH WORKSHOP
A UHF that clicks and pops on transmit and can't hear a caller two vehicles up isn't a radio problem — it's an install problem.
