DUAL BATTERY TRAY SPECIALISTS

Dual Battery Trays in Perth — Toyota, Ford, Isuzu, Nissan & More

Vehicle-specific dual battery trays from Hulk 4x4, Elevate Automotive and National Luna, plus universal Noco trays. We stock trays for LandCruiser 200, 300 and 70 Series, Prado 120 and 150, Hilux N70 and Fortuner 126, Ranger PX/PX2/PX3 and BT-50, Isuzu D-Max and MU-X, Holden Colorado RG, Mitsubishi Pajero and Triton, and Nissan Patrol GU.

A PROPER TRAY, NOT A ZIP TIE

A second battery under the bonnet has to survive corrugations, engine bay heat, and years of vibration — a strap and zip ties won't do it. A vehicle-specific dual battery tray bolts to factory mount points, holds the auxiliary battery in the correct orientation for its type (AGM, lithium or lead acid), and keeps the terminal clear of anything that shouldn't touch it.

MATCHED TO YOUR VEHICLE

Hulk 4x4 make vehicle-specific trays for the platforms we build on most — Prado 120 and 150 (2.8TD and 1KD-FTV 3.0), LC200 in both series (pre and post 08/2016), Hilux N70 2005–2014, Hilux/Fortuner 126 2.8 TD 2015+ (DBT0482), Ranger PX/PX2/PX3 and BT-50 in auto and manual variants, Colorado RG 2.8TD, Pajero NW 4M41, Triton MQ/MR, Patrol GU TD42/3.0TDi, and D-Max/MU-X 3.0 TD 4JJ1-TC. For the LandCruiser 300 we fit our own Elevate Automotive Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series Dual Battery Tray, engineered for the 300's tighter engine bay.

HULK 4X4, ELEVATE & NATIONAL LUNA

Hulk 4x4 is our default recommendation for vehicle-specific bonnet-mount dual trays — proven, well-priced, and available for practically every 4WD sold in Australia. Our own Elevate Automotive tray for the LC300 fills the gap where Hulk hadn't caught up. The National Luna Mounting Base is the go-to for mounting their battery box in a tub or canopy, and the Noco Small (292x213mm) and Medium (338x213mm) trays handle universal battery-box installs.

FITMENT MATTERS FOR CHARGING

The tray is the mechanical half of the dual-battery job — the DC-DC charger, battery isolator, cable size and fuse are the electrical half. Get the tray right first, then match it to a Redarc BCDC or Enerdrive DC2DC from our /collections/dc-dc-chargers range. Cable run length, mounting orientation and battery chemistry all feed into the charger sizing.

FITTED AT OUR PERTH WORKSHOP

We fit dual battery trays, batteries and DC-DC chargers as a single package at our workshop at 1/6 Radius Loop, Bayswater WA 6053. Bring the vehicle in and drive out with a properly installed, fused and monitored dual battery system — factory-look, sized correctly for the load, and warranted.
FAQS

Dual Battery Trays in Perth — Toyota, Ford, Isuzu, Nissan & More

Common questions about battery trays, answered by our Perth auto electricians.

Yes. A vehicle-specific tray uses factory mounting points and bolts in without drilling body panels or the chassis. Universal trays exist but always end up with holes drilled somewhere you'd rather not. Check the fitment list on each product before ordering.
Most of our trays are sized around the standard N70ZZ auxiliary battery. A few of the tighter under-bonnet fitments (like the 300 Series) only take a slimline lithium. Each product page lists the maximum battery footprint — match your battery to it before you buy.
The Hulk trays are designed as bolt-in DIY fitments — hand tools, an afternoon, and the instructions. Our own Elevate 300 Series trays are also DIY-friendly but we're happy to fit them at Bayswater if you'd rather have it done.
The tray includes the platform and bolt-in hardware to your factory pick-up points, plus battery hold-down clamps sized to the specified battery. Cables, isolator, DC-DC and fusing are separate — see our under-bonnet dual battery kits for the complete package.
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll call when your order is ready (usually 1–3 days). Please wait for our confirmation before driving down; we don't stock every SKU on the shelf. Address: 1/6 Radius Loop, Bayswater WA 6053. Open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
Domestic delivery within Australia is typically 2–8 business days depending on carrier and destination. International orders vary 2–30+ business days by country. We don't ship to PO boxes as most couriers don't deliver to them.
