4WD Bonnet Strut Light Brackets in Perth

The bonnet strut is one of the few points on a modern ute or SUV that carries an unpainted structural bolt-through. Using it to hang ditch or ancillary lights keeps the guards untouched, keeps the beam pattern above the bull bar, and keeps the whole rig legal for road use.

Every kit is laser-cut from 3mm steel and powder-coated satin black. The DMax RG and BT-50 TF kit uses the 2021+ strut bolt with a longer grade-8 replacement; the Everest kit does the same for the 2022+ Next Gen chassis. Fittings, bushes and torque spec included.

The brackets take any standard M8 or M10 light foot — Stedi ST3303, Hard Korr XDW, Great Whites ditch lights, and most 8"-40" light bars up to about 8kg per bracket. See /collections/work-rock-lights and /collections/warning-lights for the lights that pair with them.

A guard-drill light mount will always be the point rust starts on a Perth 4WD. Bracket-mounting to the strut keeps the paintwork and the underlying steel untouched, which matters if you ever sell the vehicle or claim on warranty.
