A 100 Ah LiFePO4 gives you a genuine 100 Ah of usable capacity — a 100 Ah AGM gives you around 50. Lithium weighs about a third of the equivalent AGM, charges three times faster, and holds a flat voltage curve until it's nearly empty. LiFePO4 chemistry is the safe one — no thermal runaway like older lithium chemistries, and cycle life measured in thousands not hundreds.

Add up your daily amp-hour draw — fridge, lights, water pump, inverter loads — then multiply by the number of days you want to sit without charging. Most touring canopies land at 200 Ah at 12V, most caravans at 200-400 Ah, and off-grid sheds step up to 24V or 48V systems in the kilowatt-hour range. Custom Lithium is the vehicle-specific fit — slimline and OEM-shaped batteries that drop into a Ford Ranger, Everest, Isuzu MU-X and other late-model 4WDs where a standard case won't fit under the bonnet or seat.

Lithium won't tolerate a lead-acid charge profile — the wrong voltage will either short-cycle the BMS or overcharge it.
