Factory 70 Series and GU Patrol seats are flat foam over a steel pan. After 400km of corrugations you feel every one of them. Scheelmann builds a proper ergonomic shell with an adjustable lumbar pump, side bolsters that actually hold you on side-slope tracks, and dense foam that doesn't collapse in twelve months. This is the same seat range used in European long-haul trucks.

The Vario F is the standard size — suits most builds up to around 100kg. The Vario F XXL is wider through the shoulders and base for taller or broader drivers. The Traveller adds a fold-down inboard armrest for long-distance highway work. All three run the same adjustable lumbar and side bolster geometry.

The Scheelmann Seat Adapter Kit Pair bolts the seat rails to your factory floor mounts on GU Patrol Series 4 through Series 9 (2004–2016), and on 76, 78 and 79 Series Landcruiser both pre- and post-09/2023 facelift, across Workmate and GXL trims. No cutting, no drilling into the floor pan, and the factory seatbelt geometry stays where the engineer put it.

The adapter kits keep the seat within ADR-approved mounting positions and preserve factory seatbelt anchor points. On vehicles with seat-mounted side airbags we'll discuss the trade-off with you before we fit — the Landcruiser 76/78/79 and older Patrols don't run them, so it's a non-issue on the usual candidates.
