Amber light doesn't attract mosquitoes and midges the way white does, and it doesn't kill your night vision when you step away from camp. Every dual-colour lamp we stock — Narva, Hella, Napa EuroLED 130, and our Elevate strip — switches between bright white for setup and warm amber for sitting around after dark. It's the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade on a touring build.

Awning lamps mount to the side of a canopy or caravan for general area lighting — Narva's motion-sense unit turns on when you walk out for a wee at 2am. Strip lights sit under a canopy door or above a kitchen slide. Chart lamps like the Hella Flexi are for inside — reading maps, cooking prep, reading in a swag without lighting up the whole camp.

Narva's awning range is the workhorse — good beam, sealed, priced fairly. Hella's Flexi chart lamps and Scan Grip Nova are our pick for build quality and beam control. National Luna is the premium end — the exterior mounting plates we stock in-house are for the touring builds where the customer wants the LED head unit but a purpose-made bracket for a Jayco or a canopy wall.

Most 12V camp lights draw well under 1A each, so cable sizing isn't the issue — the switch, the fuse and where you run the loom is. We fit these off a dedicated fused circuit from the auxiliary battery, with a rocker switch inside the canopy or an inline switch on the strip.
