The Tow-Pro Elite V3 runs two braking modes. Proportional mode uses inertia sensing for smooth, progressive braking at highway speeds. User-controlled mode applies a fixed level of braking that suits gravel, sand and steep off-road descents. You switch between them from the remote head.

The wiring harness contains a fused electric brake harness, mounting bracket, fasteners and full instructions. The vehicle-specific switch insert mounts the remote head where a factory switch blank would sit, giving an OE finish while maintaining ADR21 compliance when fitted correctly.

Switch inserts

The universal insert (TPSI-001) lets the installer create an OE-style remote head mount where no suitable factory switch blank is available. Vehicle-specific inserts give a factory finish while maintaining ADR21 compliance when fitted correctly.

Built for DIY fitting. The harness is plug-and-play, and the kit includes the mounting bracket, fasteners, wiring diagrams and full instructions.

The control unit mounts out of sight behind the dash. The remote head fits into a spare switch blank using the vehicle-specific insert, so it sits flush and looks factory. Where no suitable blank exists, the universal insert (TPSI-001) lets you create a mounting point.

Mount the remote head within easy reach of the driver — it is how you switch modes and adjust braking level, and the lead is 1 metre long.

Fitted correctly, the installation maintains ADR21 compliance. We can also fit it for you in-store.
