1.0 AH PER HOUR
Secop Danfoss BD35HD variable speed compressor keeps the average draw low enough for a modest battery bank.
7 YEAR COMPRESSOR WARRANTY
Backed by 7 years on the compressor and 3 years on the fridge, direct from Bushman.
REVERSIBLE DOOR, MOUNT KIT SUPPLIED
Hinge the door left or right to suit your layout. Full mounting kit and 1.2m Anderson lead included.
The Bushman DC50-X is the smallest upright in Bushman's Heavy Duty DC-X range. At 50 litres, it is the fridge for van fit-outs, tiny houses, small powerboats and canopies where a bigger unit will not fit. It draws around 1.0 amp hour per hour at 25°C ambient, averaged across a full day.
It runs a genuine Secop Danfoss BD35HD compressor, a 60W unit on a variable speed drive that modulates its output to suit the load rather than simply cycling hard on and off. That is what keeps the average current draw low across 24 hours. It carries a Tropical 'T' rating and is rated to hold temperature in ambients up to 43°C.
Made for built-in installations. Flush mount into cabinetry using the supplied mounting kit, or fasten through the internal M5 sleeves, or use the M5 threaded inserts around the cabinet for custom brackets. The compressor cavity needs 2 rear vents of 400cm² free area each. Wire it on its own dedicated circuit straight back to your battery bank.
The DC50-X sits under the DC65-X in the DC-X range. Both are 495mm and 515mm deep respectively, so if the opening you have is closer to 520mm deep step up to the DC65-X for the extra 15 litres. If you are working with even less space, the DC50-X at 380mm wide and 525mm high is Bushman's smallest upright.
