The Bushman DC65-X is the compact upright in Bushman's Heavy Duty DC-X range. 65 litres, in a cabinet 450mm wide by 525mm high, sized to fit into vans, camper trailers, canopies, boats and smaller caravans where a full-size fridge is too big. It draws around 1.0 amp hour per hour at 25°C ambient, averaged across a full day.
It runs a genuine Secop Danfoss BD35HD compressor, a 60W unit on a variable speed drive that ramps between roughly 2A and 4.5A depending on what the fridge actually needs rather than slamming on and off at full noise. It carries a Tropical 'T' rating and is rated to hold temperature in ambients up to 43°C.
Inside you get height-adjustable shelves, a crisper tub, and door balconies with rails to keep everything in place while you are moving. The door is reversible so you can hinge it to suit your layout.
A full mounting kit is supplied and the fridge comes with a 1.2 metre Anderson plug lead already fitted. It can be flush mounted into cabinetry or fitted with the door proud, and Bushman support four separate mounting methods: internal sleeves, the supplied mounting kit fascia, custom brackets on the M5 threaded inserts, or a Bushman DC65-X aluminium fridge box. Ventilation matters: 2 rear vents of 400cm² free area each. Wire it on its own dedicated circuit straight back to your battery bank.
