The Original Bushman 35L is the low-profile chest fridge freezer that has been in Bushman's range for over 25 years. At just 380mm high it fits under a bunk in a truck or caravan, or in the back of a ute with a hard tonneau cover, where a taller fridge simply will not go.
It runs a genuine Secop Danfoss variable-speed compressor drawing between 2A and 4.5A, with an oversized cooling unit for the 35 litre capacity that keeps power draw down even in hot conditions. Power consumption averages around 0.5 amp hours per hour at 4°C fridge set in a 25°C ambient. Set temperature range is -18°C to +10°C.
Cabinet is marine-grade electroplated metal with 4 tie-down brackets included, an HD Anderson lead and a cigarette plug adapter. There is a 240V to 12V mains transformer supplied so the fridge can run off mains power as well as 12V or 24V DC.
The 35L version is fixed capacity. If you want an extendable version that scales up to 42L, 45L or 52L by swapping the lid and adding an extension collar, look at the Bushman SC35-52 instead — same body, same compressor, same footprint, but a taller lid.
