The Bushman Roadie 15L is Bushman's centre-console car fridge freezer, sized to fit between the seats of a 4WD or ute and tall enough to stand 1.25 litre soft drink bottles upright inside. 375ml cans fit exactly on their side. 15 litres of internal capacity in a footprint 535mm long by 220mm wide by 380mm high.
It runs a genuine Secop Danfoss BD1.4HD compressor, a variable speed unit drawing between 2A and 4.5A. Power consumption averages 0.58 Ah/hr over 24 hours at 4°C fridge in a 25°C ambient. Set temperature range is -15°C to +10°C, so it runs as a fridge or a small freezer.
Cabinet is powder-coated steel with oversize ventilation on the front and sides, magnetic lid seal and reversible lid hinges so the lid can open either way to suit whichever side of your vehicle it lives in. The compressor is rated to operate at up to a 30 degree angle, so it does not need to sit dead level. There is a 10 amp fuse built into the unit.
Supplied with a 2 metre 12V lead terminated in a cigarette plug for direct connection to a vehicle accessory socket, plus an HD Anderson lead for wiring into a dual battery setup. A tie-down and carry kit is included with 2 metal tie-down saddles, 2 cam buckle straps and a padded shoulder carry strap.
