Whether you are powering a dual battery setup, off-road lighting, a winch, an air compressor, a fridge or touring equipment, this high-output kit provides the headroom the factory alternator does not have.
The alternator puts out 240A cold and around 217A hot, through a 7PV fixed pulley on a 17mm shaft, with an internal LIN regulator so it talks to the vehicle the way the factory unit does. It is a direct replacement in the original mounting location.
The harness matters as much as the alternator. Factory cabling was never sized to carry 240A, and reusing it is the most common reason an upgraded alternator does not deliver what it is rated for. The kit includes upgraded cable with the lugs already labelled, plus a 250A mega fuse and holder on a bracket, so the extra output actually reaches the battery instead of being lost as heat in undersized wire.
