The REDARC Smart Start SBI24 24V 100A Battery Isolator is a microprocessor-controlled dual battery isolator designed to manage the charging of auxiliary batteries in 24V systems. It ensures that the start battery is protected from excessive discharge by isolating it from the auxiliary battery when the engine is off, while allowing the auxiliary battery to power non-essential loads.
Once the start battery reaches a predetermined voltage, the SBI24 automatically connects both batteries, allowing the auxiliary battery to be charged. This system is ideal for vehicles with dual battery setups, such as commercial trucks, RVs, and marine applications.
