The Torqit 4″ Stainless Steel Snorkel (Matte Black) is a premium air intake upgrade engineered for the Toyota 79 Series LandCruiser built from March 2007 to January 2024 (pre-facelift models). This heavy-duty snorkel raises the air intake point to significantly improve airflow while offering enhanced protection against dust, debris and water ingress when tackling rugged off-road terrain, dusty tracks or deep water crossings.

Constructed from high-grade stainless steel with a durable matte black finish, this snorkel delivers strength, corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. By supplying cleaner, cooler air from a higher intake position, it helps maintain consistent engine performance in challenging environments and reduces the risk of water or dust entering the intake — perfect for remote touring, work use and adventure travel.

Installation Information

Torqit’s 79 Series Snorkel comes with a complete fitting kit and steel template. The template is laser cut and CNC folded to match the guard profile, and includes a soft foam backing to protect the vehicle panel. By bolting into existing factory threads, the template provides a 100% accurate cutting guide- no measurements required.

The cutting tool moves along the top of the template, which is laser etched with instructions and cutting points. By supporting the guard panel as it is cut, the rigid steel also prevents the panel from buckling in and out and removes room for error.

Also included in the fitting kit is clear OEM-certified paint for applying to the guard cut. This prevents rust from forming beneath the pinch weld and keeps the panel in optimum condition.
