The REDARC BCDC2420 is a 24V 20A DC-DC battery charger for a 24V auxiliary battery bank — the direct 24V equivalent of the BCDC1220 in Redarc's 12V line. Charges from your 24V vehicle's alternator using a multi-stage charge profile.
Sized to fit under the bonnet of trucks, buses, service utes and larger 4WDs running a 24V starter system. Fully sealed against water, dust and vibration. Fanless for silent operation.
Supports AGM, gel, calcium, standard lead-acid and LiFePO4 lithium chemistries — select the profile that matches your bank.
Output is 24V. If you have a 24V vehicle but want a 12V auxiliary bank, this is not the right charger. Ask us and we'll spec the right Redarc for that job.
Smart alternator vehicles and multi-charger setups. Our workshop always hardwires an ignition trigger to the charger on late-model vehicles with stop-start or variable-voltage smart alternators, and on any build with more than one BCDC so all chargers only run when the vehicle is running.
