VICTRON QUATTRO

The Victron Quattro 24/5000/120-100/100 is a premium 24V inverter charger combining a 5000VA pure sine wave inverter, 120A adaptive battery charger and dual AC inputs with automatic transfer switching. Designed for RV, marine, backup power and off-grid applications, the Quattro delivers seamless power continuity,
PowerAssist technology and advanced monitoring capabilities through the Victron ecosystem. Compatible with parallel, split-phase and three-phase installations for scalable energy systems.
  • 5000VA pure sine wave inverter with a 120A battery charger in one unit
  • Two AC inputs, so shore power and a generator can both be connected and selected automatically
  • Two 100A transfer switches, changing over in under 20 milliseconds so nothing drops out
  • PowerAssist adds battery power to a limited shore supply, letting you run more than the connection alone allows
  • PowerControl caps the charger draw so the incoming supply is never overloaded
  • Up to six units in parallel, with split-phase and three-phase capability
  • Remote monitoring through the Victron VRM portal when paired with a GX device
  • Suits both off-grid and grid-connected installations

Compatible with GX monitoring devices for advanced system management.

Professional installation recommended.

Q: What does the second AC input actually give me?
A: You can connect shore power to one input and a generator to the other, permanently. The Quattro selects whichever is available without you swapping leads, and gives priority to the source you configure.

Q: Does it provide uninterrupted power during an outage?
A: Yes. Transfer happens in under 20 milliseconds, which is fast enough that computers and other sensitive equipment keep running.

Q: What is PowerAssist and when does it matter?
A: It tops up a limited shore supply with battery power. On a 10A caravan park connection you can still run appliances that would otherwise trip the supply, because the Quattro makes up the difference from the battery.

Q: Can multiple units be connected together?
A: Yes, up to six units in parallel for more capacity, and they can be configured for split-phase or three-phase output.

Q: Is it suitable for solar systems?
A: Yes, in both off-grid and grid-connected installations. Pair it with a GX device for monitoring through the Victron VRM portal.

Q: What battery bank does a 5000VA unit need?
A: This is the 24V model, so at full output it draws roughly 210A from a 24V bank before conversion losses. Size the bank and its cabling for that sustained current, not just the capacity in amp hours.
