The REDARC Multi-Function Timer gives you precise, adjustable control over auxiliary circuits in 12V and 24V systems. Use it to run lights, pumps, fans and other accessories on a set delay — in 4WDs, caravans, campers, trucks, marine setups and stationary installations.

Both the TIM05 and TIM06 plug into a standard automotive relay base and use the same pin numbering as a standard relay, with the switched output on pin 87. Set the switching mode and choose a seconds or minutes range using the switches, then dial the delay anywhere from 1 to 60 with the potentiometer.

Both models are rated to a 10A maximum output current and share the same compact 75mm x 24mm x 30mm body at just 70g. They are supplied as separate part numbers for different switching configurations — if you are not sure which one suits your circuit, get in touch and we will confirm it before you order.

A: Yes. Both models are rated for 12V or 24V negative earth systems, so the same part suits a 4WD or a truck.

Q: How do I set the delay?
A: Use the switches to pick the switching mode and whether the range is in seconds or minutes, then turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase the delay. Anywhere from 1 to 60 is available.

Q: What is the difference between the TIM05 and the TIM06?
A: REDARC publishes the same electrical specification for both - 12V/24V, 10A, 1 to 60 seconds or minutes, and the same size and weight. They are supplied as separate part numbers for different switching configurations. If you are not certain which one your circuit needs, get in touch before ordering and we will confirm it for you.

Q: How much can it switch?
A: Up to 10A through the internal relay, with the switched output on pin 87. Anything heavier needs a separate relay driven by the timer.

Q: Can I use it on LED lighting circuits?
A: Yes. LED lights, water pumps, fans and other auxiliary devices are all fine as long as the load stays within the 10A rating.

Q: Does it need a special base?
A: No. It uses the same pin numbering as a standard automotive relay, so it plugs into a standard relay base.
