A Toyota-style horizontal dual dash switch that fits the older Toyota horizontal switch aperture and drives two independently switched outputs from one clean OEM face. Runs a light bar and driving lights, work lights and reverse lights, or any paired 12V circuit off a single dash blank without cutting the fascia.

One powered input feeds two switched outputs, each rated 3A at 12V. Dual LED illumination runs off the vehicle dash light circuit: green shows the switch is off, blue shows it is on. The icons are laser engraved so the label does not wear off, and a pre-terminated harness and connector are included.

Use a relay if either output feeds more than 3A. Drive the relay coil from the switch and let the relay carry the accessory load on separate high-current terminals.

  • Dual outputs — one shared input, two switched circuits
  • 3A at 12V — relay for anything higher
  • Dual LED — green off, blue on
  • OEM horizontal fit — Toyota horizontal blank
  • Laser-engraved icons — will not wear off
  • Harness included — plug-in connector, no soldering

Q: What is the 3A rating and why do I need a relay above it?
Each output is rated 3A at 12V. Anything drawing more — a light bar, HID driving lights, a fridge — will weld or burn the switch contacts. The fix is a relay: the switch triggers the relay coil (milliamps), and the relay carries the accessory load on separate high-current terminals.

Q: What does dual switch actually mean?
One switch body with two independently switched halves. One shared 12V input feeds both. Each half drives its own accessory or its own relay coil. Handy for pairs — light bar and driving lights, work lights and reverse lights, or two independent camp circuits.

Q: When do the LEDs light up?
Only when the dash light circuit is active — headlights or park lights on. Green shows off, blue shows on. If you want night-time illumination without headlights on, wire the LED feed to ignition instead of the dash circuit.

Q: Horizontal versus vertical Toyota switch — which do I need?
Some Toyota dashes take a horizontal switch blank (long axis running side-to-side) and others take a vertical blank (long axis running top-to-bottom). Look at the factory blank in your dash: if the empty aperture is wider than it is tall, you need this horizontal switch. If it is taller than wide, you need the vertical version. Measure before ordering.

Q: Which vehicles have the horizontal blank?
Mostly the plastic-dash 70 Series (75/76/78/79) and the older Hilux, Prado 120 and FJ Cruiser dash layouts. Newer Toyotas mostly use the vertical small blank instead.

Q: Does it fit positive-switched or negative-switched vehicles?
Both. Wire the input to a switched 12V feed and drive the two outputs into whichever accessories or relays you are using.

Q: Is this a genuine Toyota OEM switch?
No. It is a Lightforce Toyota-style switch designed to match the OEM blank and dash finish. Australian design-patented. Not made by Toyota.

Q: Does it come with a harness?
Yes. A pre-terminated harness and connector are included so the switch plugs straight in.
