An in-house fabricated stainless steel bracket that mounts a UHF aerial to the front corner of an Alu-Cab roof conversion on a Toyota LC78 Troop Carrier. Positions the aerial horizontally on either the left or right front side of the roof shell for a clean line into the UHF loom. Fits Workmate and GXL LC78 Troopies with the Alu-Cab roof conversion fitted.

The bracket is formed from 304-grade stainless steel so it holds up to rain, dust and road salt without rusting. Bolts to the Alu-Cab roof frame through the manufacturer's existing fixing points, so nothing new goes into the shell. The mounting face carries the standard aerial-base thread, accepting GME, Uniden or any UHF whip with the common base pattern.

The angle of the Alu-Cab roof shell varies slightly between installs, so this bracket typically fits only one side on a given vehicle. Pair it with a folding base if you need the whip to lay flat for low clearances or garage parking. For an Alu Innovations or Mulgo roof instead of Alu-Cab, use the matching variant for that conversion.

Technically yes, but one side usually fits better than the other because Alu-Cab roofs vary slightly in angle between units. Pick the side where the bracket sits most upright against the shell.
