A stainless steel engine-bay plate that holds a battery master switch (isolator) and a Mega fuse holder in one spot on the passenger-side radiator fan shroud. Fits VDJ V8 Toyota Landcruiser 70 Series: 76, 78 and 79 Series utes, wagons and troopcarriers. Puts the winch isolator and its inline fuse within arm's reach of the battery for a clean, short cable run.

Laser-cut 304 stainless steel in a natural brushed finish, pre-drilled for a standard panel-mount battery isolator and a Mega fuse holder of the common hole pattern. Mounts onto the factory radiator fan shroud brackets with no cutting, drilling or welding. Weighs 0.1 kg so it adds no measurable load.

If your 70 Series already has an aftermarket catch can in this spot, this plate will foul it. For that layout, run the alternate bracket that moves the fuse holder clear of the catch can.

Pairs with

  • Stainless 304 — bare, won't rust in the engine bay
  • Direct VDJ fit — bolts to factory shroud, no drilling
  • Combo plate — holds isolator and Mega fuse together
  • Short cable run — sits beside the cranking battery
  • Mega fuse pattern — fits standard Mega holders
  • Panel-mount isolator — fits standard master switches
  • Made in Perth — fabricated by Elevate Automotive
  • Catch-can variant — paired bracket for aftermarket catch-can builds

Stainless engine-bay bracket for passenger-side radiator fan shroud
76 Series Wagon with VDJ V8 FTV engine
78 Series Troopcarrier with VDJ V8 FTV engine
79 Series Ute (single or dual cab) with VDJ V8 FTV engine
70 Series with 1HZ six-cylinder engine (different shroud layout, won't fit)
Any 70 Series with an aftermarket catch can in this location (use the alternate catch-can bracket instead)

Q: What's a winch isolator?
It's a battery master switch that cuts power to high-draw circuits like winches and inverters. Lets you safely service the vehicle or park it long-term without current flowing through heavy cables.

Q: What does the Mega fuse holder do?
It holds the inline fuse that protects the heavy cable between the battery and the winch. Without it, a short to chassis could cook the cable or start a fire.

Q: Which 70 Series models does this fit?
76, 78 and 79 Series Landcruisers with the VDJ V8 FTV engine. Not for the earlier 1HZ six-cylinder; the engine bay layout differs.

Q: Does install need drilling?
No. The plate bolts onto the factory radiator fan shroud bracket holes.

Q: Will it clear an aftermarket catch can?
No. If a catch can already lives in this spot, use our alternate bracket that moves the Mega fuse holder clear of the catch can.

Q: What isolator switches fit?
Standard panel-mount battery master switches. Most 100A to 300A rotary isolators with the common two-bolt mounting pattern bolt straight on.

Q: What Mega fuse holders fit?
Common Mega-type fuse holders with the standard two-bolt mounting pattern (around 32mm centres). Non-standard holders may need an adapter plate.

Q: Does hardware come in the box?
No. Supply your own M6 or M8 stainless bolts, washers and nuts for the isolator and fuse holder, plus whatever factory bolts the shroud bracket uses to secure the plate itself.

Q: Why stainless instead of powder-coated steel?
The engine bay sees heat, oil, salt and vibration. Bare stainless shrugs that off without a coating to chip, blister or let rust creep underneath.

Q: Can your workshop fit it?
Yes. Book a workshop slot with Elevate Automotive in Perth and we'll fit the plate, isolator, fuse holder and winch wiring in one visit.
