A Toyota-style large dual dash switch that puts two independently switched outputs behind a single OEM-shape blank. Runs light bars, driving lights, work lights, camp lights or dual accessory circuits from the vehicle dash without cutting the fascia.

The switch is a large-format single powered input feeding two switched outputs. Each half operates independently. Dual LED illumination runs off the vehicle dash light circuit: green shows the switch is off, blue shows it is on. Icons and text are laser engraved so they do not wear off. A harness and connector are included and the switch is rated for 3A at 12V.

Use a relay if either output feeds more than 3A. Drive a lightbar, HID or high-current accessory through the switch to trigger the relay coil, not through the switch contacts themselves.

  • Dual outputs — one shared input, two switched circuits
  • 3A at 12V — relay for anything higher
  • Dual LED — green off, blue on
  • OEM Toyota fit — no dash modification
  • Laser-engraved icons — will not wear off
  • Harness included — plug-in connector, no soldering

Q: What is the current rating and why do I need a relay above 3A?
Each switched output is rated for 3A at 12V. A light bar, HID driving lights or fridge will pull more than that — the switch contacts weld or burn out. The fix is a relay: the switch triggers the relay coil (draws milliamps) and the relay carries the full load on separate high-current terminals.

Q: What does dual switch actually mean?
One switch body with two independent halves, top and bottom, each operating a separate circuit. One shared power input feeds both. Handy when you want two accessories on one dash blank — light bar plus driving lights, work lights plus reverse lights, and so on.

Q: When do the LEDs light up?
The LEDs only illuminate when the vehicle dash light circuit is active — headlights or park lights on. Green means the switch is off, blue means on. If you want night-time illumination without headlights on, hard-wire the LED feed to ignition instead of the dash light circuit.

Q: Does it fit positive-switched or negative-switched vehicles?
Both. Wire the input to a switched 12V feed and the two outputs to whichever accessories or relay coils you are driving.

Q: Is this a genuine Toyota OEM switch?
No. It is a Lightforce Toyota-style switch designed to fit the OEM blank and match the dash finish. Australian design-patented. Not made by Toyota.

Q: Which vehicles take the large switch versus the small switch?
Large fits the older Toyota dash aperture: 70 Series, 100 Series Landcruiser, HiAce, older Hilux, Prado 120, FJ Cruiser and similar. Small fits the newer Toyota dash aperture: 200 Series, 4Runner, N80 Hilux, Prado 150, RAV4, Fortuner, Camry and Corolla. If unsure, measure the switch blank cut-out.

Q: Does the switch come with the harness plug?
Yes. A pre-terminated harness and connector are included so it plugs straight in without soldering.

Q: Can I get it blank and label it myself?
Yes. The Dual Blank variant is unlabelled so you can add your own icon or leave it plain if the switch drives a hidden circuit.
