A behind-dash bracket that holds the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite controller in a factory-mount location on the Toyota Prado 150 Series. Bolts straight into existing holes on the driver's side kick panel, no drilling. Keeps the controller tucked out of sight while leaving the dial and face accessible from the driver's seat.

Powder-coated black aluminium with laser-cut mounting holes that line up with the factory fastener positions. The bracket sits flush behind the trim, 130 by 90mm with a 40mm offset flange, so the controller face projects just below the dash line. The Tow-Pro clips to the bracket via its own factory fixing holes.

Won't fit a Prado 150 that already has an OEM bracket occupying the same cavity behind the dash. The Tow-Pro Elite and its wiring kit are sold separately.

Q: What is a Tow-Pro bracket?
A pre-shaped metal plate that holds an electric brake controller behind the dash so the dial sits in reach of the driver without screwing anything into the plastic trim. Keeps the install clean and reversible.

Q: Does it suit the Tow-Pro Elite V3?
Yes. The bracket uses the Tow-Pro Elite's own factory fixing holes, so it fits all current Tow-Pro Elite generations including the V3 EBRH-ACCV3.

Q: Will it fit every Prado 150?
It fits GX, GXL, VX and Kakadu in both the 2009-2015 pre-facelift and 2015-2024 facelift runs. One exception: if the Prado already has another aftermarket or OEM bracket in the same cavity behind the driver's kick panel, this bracket cannot share the space.

Q: Does install need drilling?
No. The bracket uses existing factory bolt holes on the driver's side kick panel. Pop the trim off, bolt the bracket in, clip the Tow-Pro to it, run the wiring down to the trailer plug.

Q: Why hide the Tow-Pro behind the dash?
Keeps the dash face clean and keeps the controller safe from knocks and knees. The Tow-Pro's dial still projects below the dash line so the driver can reach it from the driving position. Reads as a factory install, no exposed brackets.

Q: Does the Tow-Pro Elite come with this bracket?
No. The bracket is sold separately. Pair it with a Redarc Tow-Pro Elite V3 for the complete install, plus the Redarc Tow-Pro wiring kit for the trailer plug side.

Q: What material is it made from?
Powder-coated black aluminium. Light, corrosion-resistant and strong enough to hold the controller square against road vibration. Sits hidden behind the dash so the finish is more about long-term resistance than looks.

Q: Does hardware come in the box?
Just the bracket. The Prado's factory mounting bolts are reused for the kick-panel side, and the Tow-Pro clips to the bracket via its own factory screws (supplied in the Tow-Pro Elite box).

Q: Can I install it myself?
Yes if a kick-panel trim has been pulled before. Prado 150 kick panels pop off with a trim removal tool, and the whole bracket install is factory bolts in factory holes. Running the brake-controller wiring down to the trailer plug is the longer part of the job.

Q: Can you install it for me?
Yes, our Perth workshop fits Tow-Pro Elite controllers in Prado 150s regularly. Book the Tow-Pro Elite plus bracket plus wiring kit as one install and it goes out finished.
