The Cerbo GX is the communication centre of a Victron system, giving control and monitoring from anywhere. Connect through the Victron Remote Management portal, or directly using the separate GX Touch 50, a multifunction display, or the VictronConnect app over Bluetooth.
Monitoring and control
Shows battery state of charge, power consumption, and harvest from solar, generator and mains, alongside tank levels and temperature readings. You can set the shore power input current limit, start and stop generators automatically, follow up alerts and run diagnostics remotely.
Ports and capacity
A dual core processor and a second CAN-bus port support larger systems, following managed lithium batteries on one port while the second handles up to 25 VE.Can solar chargers at once. NMEA 2000-out support integrates it into a boat network.
Connections comprise four tank inputs, four temperature inputs, three VE.Direct ports, three USB ports, four digital inputs and two relays.
Mounting and setup
Mounts on a DIN rail using the DIN35 adapter small, which is not included. The separate touchscreen bolts on top of a dashboard rather than needing a cut-out, and connects through a single cable. Bluetooth allows setup through VictronConnect.
Typical applications
In marine, backup and off-grid systems it starts and stops the generator automatically, and can delay ignition until the end of quiet periods. In energy storage systems it holds backup batteries at full charge, takes over during a power cut and diverts excess solar to self-consumption. In RV and emergency vehicles it keeps the vital systems running.
