Q: Can the GX IO-Extender 150 switch heavy loads directly?
A: No – all relays are signal level only. Use external relays for high-current switching applications.

Q: Do I need to install drivers?
A: No – the device is plug-and-play on any Victron GX system running Venus OS v3.60 or newer.

Q: What is the PWM signal used for?
A: PWM outputs are commonly used to control DC fan speeds or lighting dimming via compatible controllers.

The GX IO-Extender 150 is a plug-and-play unit that connects to your GX device via USB.

All power is supplied over USB. The 8 digital I/Os can be configured using DIP switches on the board. Each I/O has an indicator LED to show activity.

The 4 PWM outputs are factory-set to a 1.56 kHz signal with 8-bit resolution and can be used for fan speed or dimming controls.

The 2 latching relays are ideal for on/off switching and remain in their last state if power is lost.

The solid-state relay is designed for low-current DC control applications.

Mounting options include wall or DIN-rail mounting (DIN bracket sold separately).

Configuration is performed within the Venus OS interface.
