Description
The BOAB 42L Poly Diesel Tank (FTP48V) is a slimline, vertical-mount diesel storage solution designed to fit snugly behind the wheel arches of dual-cab utes and wagons. Its narrow 75mm profile and integrated wheel arch cut-outs allow for efficient use of space without compromising cabin or tray storage. Constructed from UV-stabilized polyethylene, this tank is built to withstand harsh Australian conditions, making it ideal for off-road and touring applications.
The tank features a screw cap filler, a 1/2” BSPT brass outlet recessed into a small rebate, and a 1/4” BSP brass insert near the filler cap for venting. A 500mm vent hose is included to position the vent above the tank. For interior installations, a vent extension kit (Part No. FTUVK) is recommended to connect the tank to the vehicle's main fuel tank ventilation system.
