A dash-fit switch that controls Lightforce BEAST driving lights from the factory blank on 3rd-gen Isuzu D-Max, MU-X and Mazda BT-50. Short press flicks between SPOT and FLOOD; long press triggers BEAST mode. Slots into the original switch cutout so the dash looks like it left the factory that way.

The face is 18 by 28mm and clips into the OEM blank without any cutting or trimming. Illumination is white when the light is off, blue when it's on. Runs 10 to 16V input and drives 3A output, enough to trigger a relay but not to run the lights directly.

Pair it with the Lightforce BEAST Universal Harness for plug-and-play wiring. Only fits BEAST driving lights. It uses their control protocol, so it won't work as a generic on/off for other lights.

Q: What does BEAST mode do?
BEAST mode fires both the spot and flood beams together at their full output. Short-press once and the light drops back to SPOT.

Q: Will this control any driving light, or only BEAST?
Only Lightforce BEAST driving lights. The switch talks to the light's BEAST controller, so it won't work as an on/off for older Lightforce lights or other brands.

Q: Do I need a separate wiring harness?
Yes. The switch runs on the Lightforce BEAST Universal Harness (LFDLHBEAST-U). The harness carries the battery feed, ignition trigger, ground and the control lead back to the switch.

Q: Will this fit a pre-2020 D-Max or BT-50?
No. The switch blank shape changed with the 3rd-gen release in 2020. Earlier dash blanks need a different switch.

Q: Is this a genuine Lightforce part?
Yes. This is a genuine Lightforce BEAST switch under SKU LFSWDC3BST-WB. Design and engineering are done in Adelaide; manufacture is under Lightforce quality control.

Q: Can the switch handle the full current of the driving lights directly?
No. The switch outputs 3A, enough to trigger the light's built-in relay. The lights themselves draw their full current straight from the battery through the harness fuse.

Q: What's the difference between short press and long press?
Short press toggles between SPOT and FLOOD. Long press activates BEAST mode (both beams together). Another short press returns to SPOT.

Q: Can I fit this to a Toyota with a similar blank?
No. Toyota blanks are a different shape and hold size, even where they look close. Lightforce make Toyota-specific fitments (TY4, TYDH) for LC300, Prado 250 and Hilux.
