A snap-in blanking plate that fills a Carling-format 37 × 21mm switch cutout when the slot isn't running a switch. Sits flush in switch panels, dash cutouts and rocker-switch housings so the panel still reads clean and dust doesn't drop through the gap.

The body is black moulded plastic sized 37.5mm × 21mm on the face, with retention clips on the sides that hold it in place once pressed in. No wiring, no tools and no fasteners; the same footprint as any Carling C2 or V-Series rocker.

Fits panels built for Carling-format rockers; use as many as needed to fill unused slots in a switch bank. Pop out with a small flat blade behind the retention clip if a switch gets added later.

A Carling-format 37.5 × 21mm rocker cutout. That's the same rectangular slot used by Carling C2 and V-Series rockers and by ARB, Narva and most aftermarket 4WD switch banks that follow the Carling footprint.

Q: What does 'Carling format' actually mean?
Carling Technologies made the original C2 and V-Series contura rocker switches used across marine and automotive dash panels for decades. Their 37.5 × 21mm cutout became the de facto standard, so 'Carling format' now describes any rocker or plate built to that same panel slot.

Q: Which switches in the Elevate range use this footprint?
Our Carling-style illuminated inverter switch and the range of ARB-style rocker switches all use the 37.5 × 21mm slot. This blanking plate drops into any unused position on a panel built for those switches.

Q: Is it waterproof or sealed?
No IP rating is published on this plate. It stops dust and casual moisture but is not a wet-location seal. Fit it in cabins, dash panels and interior switch banks rather than open engine bays or exposed marine helms.

Q: How does it fit into the panel?
Press the plate face-first into the empty rocker slot until the side retention clips engage the back of the panel. No screws, no fasteners and no wiring — it drops in the same way as a Carling C2 rocker.

Q: Can I remove it later if I want to add a switch?
Yes. Slide a small flat blade or trim tool behind one of the side retention clips and lever the plate out. The panel slot stays intact for a switch to drop in afterwards.

Q: What material and colour is it?
Black moulded plastic with a matte face that matches the finish of a standard Carling C2 rocker so the panel reads uniform across live switches and blank slots.

Q: Will it fit an oval 12mm rocker switch cutout?
No. Oval 12mm-stem rocker switches use a circular hole with a stem clip, not the Carling rectangular slot. This plate is only for the 37.5 × 21mm rectangular Carling footprint.
