A complete 3-pin Deutsch DT plug-and-socket kit with both housings, all six contacts and both wedge locks in the pack. Runs sealed 3-wire signal or low-current power off the harness anywhere weather, vibration or dirt would kill an open crimp. Fits reversing camera looms, driving light triggers, sensor drops, marine trim harnesses and any chassis-run cable-to-cable join that has to survive a river crossing.

DT housings are thermoplastic with silicone seals rated IP68. Contacts are stamped nickel-plated copper alloy sized for 12 to 20 AWG cable and rated 13A continuous per pin at 125°C. Wedge locks slot into the back of each housing to positively retain the contacts so vibration cannot back them out.

Use a proper Deutsch stamped-and-formed crimp tool on the contacts; a solid barrel crimp tool will crush them. Fuse the circuit at the source, sized to the cable, not to the 13A pin rating.

Q: What is Deutsch DT?
A modular sealed connector family used in automotive, agricultural and marine harnesses. DT is the mid-range size, rated 13A per contact with an IP68 seal when properly crimped. Each pin uses a stamped-and-formed contact locked in by a wedge on the back of the housing.

Q: What is in the kit?
One male 3-pin housing, one female 3-pin housing, three male pins, three female sockets, and two wedge locks. Everything to complete one sealed 3-wire join.

Q: What cable size fits the contacts?
12 to 20 AWG (roughly 0.5 to 3.0mm²). Sized to the 13A continuous per-pin rating. Larger cable needs the bigger DTP series.

Q: What amperage will it carry?
13A per pin continuous at 125°C. Three pins can share a full 3-phase or three separate circuits without derating.

Q: Do I need a Deutsch crimp tool?
Yes. Deutsch stamped-and-formed contacts need an open-barrel Deutsch tool such as the standard four-indent DT tool. A solid barrel crimper will crush the contact and give a bad join.

Q: What are the wedge locks for?
They slot into the back of each housing after the contacts are in place and lock the contacts positively so vibration cannot back them out. Every DT connector needs its wedge fitted for full retention.

Q: How weather sealed is it?
IP68 when both housings are mated and the seal ring is intact. Rated for engine-bay, chassis-rail and short immersion use. Unmated it is IP20 — fit a cavity plug into any unused pin position.

Q: What temperature range does it handle?
-55 to 125°C. Handles turbo-side engine-bay heat and Alpine cold with no derating.
