A single-position ANL fuse holder that takes one 35A to 300A ANL bolt-on fuse and protects the run between the battery and its downstream load. Fits battery-to-inverter cabling, battery-to-DC-DC-charger feeds, distribution-block main tails and heavy-current auxiliary trunks in 4WDs, caravans, tinnies and off-grid setups.

The body is reinforced polycarbonate with tin-plated copper terminals on M8 studs, one either side. A clear cover clips over the fuse so the element stays visible without unbolting anything. Bolt-down mounting through the base sits flat against a tray, bulkhead or panel.

Fuse the holder to the actual continuous current the cable carries, not the maximum the holder accepts. Loads pulling above 300A continuous, such as big winches or high-power inverters, sit outside this holder's range.

Need to protect two circuits instead?

  • ANL fuse compatible — 35A to 300A standard bolt-on
  • Clear cover — check the fuse without removing it
  • M8 stud terminals — tin-plated copper for direct lug connection
  • Reinforced polycarbonate — flame-resistant body
  • 32V DC rated — safe on 12V and 24V systems

Not rated for 48V systems

Q: What does ANL actually mean?
ANL is an industry-standard bolt-on fuse shape used for high-current DC circuits, a fuse element inside a moulded body that bolts directly onto the holder's studs, rather than plugging in like a blade fuse. You'll see it protecting battery-to-inverter, battery-to-DC-DC-charger and other heavy-current runs.

Q: What amperage range does this holder take?
This holder is rated for standard ANL fuses from 35A to 300A, the common commodity-holder range. It won't take a 500A ANL fuse; that needs a heavier-duty holder.

Q: Can I use this with the 500A ANL fuse in your range?
No. This holder is rated to 300A maximum. If your circuit needs a 500A ANL fuse, you'll need a holder rated for that current, this one isn't it.

Q: Does it come with a fuse?
No, fuses are sold separately so you can match the rating to your actual circuit.

Q: Is the cover included?
Yes. A clear inspection cover is fitted, so you can check the fuse element without removing anything.

Q: Can I use this on a 24V system?
Yes. It's rated to 32V DC, which comfortably covers both 12V and 24V systems.

Q: How do I mount it?
It bolts down through the mounting holes in the base to a solid surface near the battery or distribution point. Cable lugs connect to the 5/16 inch (M8) studs on each side.

Q: Should I get the single holder or the twin holder?
Get the single if you're protecting one high-current circuit. Get the twin ANL holder if you're running two separate ANL-fused circuits from the same point, it saves a second mounting job.

Q: How do I know if the fuse has blown?
Most ANL fuses have a visible element strip, look for a break in it, or test continuity across the fuse terminals with a multimeter with the circuit isolated.

Q: What size cable lug do I need?
The holder's studs are 5/16 inch (M8), use ring terminals sized to match, crimped to cable rated for your circuit's actual current draw.
