The Century EverRide GYZ16H is a Heavy Duty 12V 13Ah AGM motorcycle battery that cranks accessory-laden V-twin cruisers and mid-weight tourers at 210 cold-cranking amps. It fits bikes calling for the GYZ16H / YIX16H case with Terminal Type N threaded studs and standard polarity (negative on the left end).

The case measures 150 by 88.5 by 145mm and weighs 4.55kg. Cast radial plates widen the active-material surface, so the cranking current climbs without the footprint growing. Advanced AGM separators hold the electrolyte between glass mats, so there is no spill, and the sealed VRLA case mounts on any angle. Terminal Type N uses threaded M6 studs for ring-terminal cable lugs.

Ships factory activated. Install straight out of the box, torque the ring-terminal nuts evenly and keep the vent clear. If the bike has been sitting, top up on an AGM-profile charger first (Century's CC6121.2 or CC1206-XLi) before fitting.

Ships factory activated — install straight out of the box. VRLA sealed construction mounts on any angle. Terminal Type N uses threaded M6 studs, torque the ring-terminal nuts evenly to the stud rating.

Standard polarity: negative on the left end, positive on the right. Keep the vent clear. If the bike has been sitting, top up on an AGM-profile charger before fitting. Century's CC6121.2 or CC1206-XLi are the matched units.

Lithium-only bikes (needs AGM-rated regulator)

Q: What does AGM actually mean?
Absorbed Glass Mat. Fibre-glass mats hold the electrolyte between the plates so nothing sloshes and nothing spills. Sealed, vibration-tolerant, mounts on any angle.

Q: What does CCA actually mean?
Cold Cranking Amps — the current the battery delivers for 30 seconds at -18°C while holding a usable voltage. Higher CCA means the starter spins harder when it's cold. 210A suits mid-weight cruisers and tourers.

Q: What does Ah actually mean?
Amp-hours — the capacity between full charge and flat. 13Ah covers mid-weight accessory loads like heated grips, extra lights and a small amp without the starter running flat.

Q: What's the difference between GYZ16H and GYZ16HL?
Polarity. Both are 210CCA/13Ah with Terminal Type N threaded studs. GYZ16H is standard polarity (negative on the left end); GYZ16HL is reversed polarity (negative on the right). Match whichever your bike's existing battery had — wrong polarity can short out the loom.

Q: Does it ship ready to install?
Yes. Factory activated — no acid pack, no filling, no first-charge wait.

Q: What's Terminal Type N?
Threaded M6 studs sticking out of the top of the battery. Ring-terminal cable lugs bolt down onto them with a hex-headed nut and torque to the stud rating. The alternative is Terminal Type A (clamp posts), which uses a different cable lug.

Q: Can I mount it sideways?
Yes. VRLA sealed, no spill — mounts on any angle. Keep the vent clear and the battery clamped down tight.

Q: Which bikes take a GYZ16H?
Mid-weight V-twin cruiser and touring builds that call for the YIX16H case with Terminal Type N studs and standard polarity (negative on the left). Match the case size, terminal type and polarity to the bike's existing battery before ordering.

Q: How long will it last?
AGM motorcycle batteries typically run 3-5 years. A tender over winter and a monthly top-up charge add years — short rides and long storage shorten life fastest.
