The Century EverRide GYZ20H is a Heavy Duty 12V 18Ah AGM motorcycle battery that cranks accessory-laden touring and V-twin bikes at 320 cold-cranking amps. It fits large-capacity cruisers and tourers that call for the GYZ20H / YIX20H case with Terminal Type N threaded studs and standard polarity (negative on the left end).

The case measures 176 by 89 by 154mm and weighs 6.55kg. Cast radial plates widen the active-material surface, pulling an extra 70 amps of cranking out of the same footprint as the 250CCA GYZ20L. Advanced AGM separators hold the electrolyte between glass mats so there is no spill and the sealed VRLA case mounts on any angle. Terminal Type N uses threaded M6 studs for ring-terminal cable lugs.

Ships factory activated. Install straight out of the box, torque the ring-terminal nuts evenly to the stud rating and keep the vent clear. If the bike has been sitting, top up on an AGM-profile charger first (Century's CC6121.2 is the matched unit) before fitting.

  • Heavy Duty AGM — built for accessory-laden tourers
  • 320 CCA — cranks heavy V-twins in the cold
  • Factory activated — install straight out of the box
  • Standard polarity — negative on the left end
  • VRLA sealed — mounts on any angle, no spill
  • Terminal Type N — threaded M6 studs for ring terminals

Q: What does AGM actually mean?
Absorbed Glass Mat. Fibre-glass mats hold the electrolyte between the plates so nothing sloshes and nothing spills. Sealed, vibration-tolerant, mounts on any angle.

Q: What does CCA actually mean?
Cold Cranking Amps — the current the battery delivers for 30 seconds at -18°C while holding a usable voltage. Higher CCA means the starter spins harder when it's cold. 320A clears heavy V-twins without lugging.

Q: What does Ah actually mean?
Amp-hours — the capacity between full charge and flat. 18Ah covers heavy accessory loads like heated grips, extra lights and a touring stereo.

Q: What's the difference between GYZ20H and GYZ20HL?
Polarity. Both are 320CCA/18Ah with Terminal Type N threaded studs. GYZ20H is standard polarity (negative on the left end); GYZ20HL is reversed polarity (negative on the right). Match whichever your bike's existing battery had — wrong polarity can short out the loom.

Q: What's the difference between GYZ20H and GYZ20L?
Terminal type and cranking current. GYZ20H uses Terminal Type N threaded studs with 320CCA; GYZ20L uses Terminal Type A clamp posts with 250CCA. Match the terminal type to the bike's existing battery and existing cable lugs.

Q: Does it ship ready to install?
Yes. Factory activated — no acid pack, no filling, no first-charge wait.

Q: Can I mount it sideways?
Yes. VRLA sealed, no spill — mounts on any angle. Keep the vent clear and the battery clamped down tight.

Q: Which bikes take a GYZ20H?
Large-displacement cruiser and touring builds taking the YIX20H case with Terminal Type N studs and standard polarity (negative on the left) — covers various Victory, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki tourers rated for 320CCA. Match the case size, terminal type and polarity to the bike's existing battery.

Q: How long will it last?
AGM motorcycle batteries typically run 3-5 years. A tender over winter and a monthly top-up charge add years — short rides and long storage shorten life fastest.
