Vehicle-specific brackets, pods and expedition rack kits that bolt Lazer Lamps lighting onto the Land Rover Defender 2020+ without cutting or drilling. Roof mounts use the factory-drilled ditch holes under the gutter trim. Roof pods swap in beside the sunroof surround. Expedition rack kits fasten to the Land Rover Expedition rack. Pick a bracket-only variant to BYO lamp, or step up to a bundle that includes the matched Linear, Triple-R or Sentinel lamp and the OE-style wiring harness.

Brackets are 3mm A2 stainless steel with a UV-stable satin black powder coat. Fasteners are A2 stainless, countersunk and anti-theft, in matched lengths and spacer sets. Elite tier bundles add the CANNY CAN-bus interface so the auxiliary lamps follow the Defender's high beam, including on vehicles with LED Matrix headlights.

Panoramic sunroof or gloss roof-rail Defenders are not supported for the roof mount series. The brackets rely on standard ditch mountings. The roof pod kits are the alternative for those vehicles. Check the SKU wiring table below against the bracket type and lamp you want.

Q: Which mount do I need?

The 3001-DEF20-60-K series fits a Lazer Linear-42 bar; the 3001-DEF20-73-K series fits a Triple-R 24; the 3001-DEF-67-K series fits the Sentinel pods (and also fits the 2018 Defender for that SKU family only); the 3001-RR-DEF series is a small roof-rail extension; the VIFK-DEF2020-0L series fits the Land Rover Expedition Rack.

Q: What is the difference between Linear-42, Triple-R and Sentinel?

Linear bars give a low-profile look and a wide spread beam; Triple-R bars give a focused long-range beam; Sentinel pods combine a round pod form factor with a DRL ring. Pick by beam pattern and roofline look you want.

Q: What is the difference between Standard and Elite?

Elite adds a Position Light / i-LBA DRL function to the lamp and includes the OE-style wiring loom. Standard is the lamp alone and needs a separate harness.

Q: Does the install need drilling?

No. Roof mounts use the factory-drilled ditch holes under the gutter trim. Roof pods use the OE pod mount points. Expedition rack kits bolt to the Land Rover Expedition rack. All fixings are included.

Q: Will this fit a panoramic sunroof Defender?

The roof mount kits do not fit panoramic sunroof or gloss roof-rail Defenders — those rooflines do not have the standard ditch mounts the brackets need. Roof pod kits are the alternative for those vehicles.

Q: What is CANNY and when do I need it?

CANNY is a Lazer CAN-bus interface that reads the Defender's lighting messages so the auxiliary lamps follow high-beam. Defenders with LED Matrix headlights need it to trigger the auxiliaries from the stalk; non-Matrix Defenders can use direct wiring. The Elite kits include the CANNY unit.

Q: Are the lamps road legal?

Lazer Linear, Triple-R and Sentinel lamps supplied in these kits are ECE approved and legal for road use in most regions. Local on-road use rules still apply — check your state or territory requirements before fitting.

Q: Can I buy the brackets alone and add the lamp later?

Yes. Each series has a brackets-only SKU and matching bundle SKUs that add the lamp and wiring. The brackets, lamp and loom are the same parts in both paths, so a staged upgrade reaches the same end point.

Q: Which SKU covers the 2018-model Defender?

Only the 3001-DEF-67-K series (the Sentinel-pod mount family) fits the 2018 Defender; every other series on this listing is 2020+ only.
