A Toyota-style small momentary airbag switch fitted to the left side of the dash. Drives an airbag or air-suspension controller up or down for as long as the switch is pressed, then releases the moment you let go. Fits the OEM small blank aperture for a clean factory finish.

One switch body with two momentary halves and two independent powered inputs, so each direction can pull from its own supply if the airbag system needs it. Dual LED illumination runs off the vehicle dash light circuit: the blue icon shows the switch is off, the green text lights up when the switch is being pressed.

Wiring is airbag-controller specific. Match the two switched outputs to the up and down inputs on the compressor or valve block per the controller manual, and use a relay if either direction pulls more than 3A.

  • Momentary action — signals only while pressed
  • Two outputs — up and down on one switch
  • 3A at 12V — relay any compressor load
  • Dual LED — blue icon, green while pressed
  • OEM Toyota fit — left-side small blank
  • Laser-engraved icon — will not wear off

Q: What does momentary mean on an airbag switch?
The switch only makes contact while it is held down. Release the switch and the circuit opens again. That is how airbag and suspension controllers expect the input signal — pump up as long as pressed, stop when released. A latching switch would leave the compressor running and burst the bag.

Q: Is this plug-and-play into the airbag system?
No. The switch itself has a plug-in harness but the wiring at the compressor or valve block is airbag-controller specific. Match the two outputs to the up and down inputs listed in the controller manual. If the airbag kit came with its own factory harness, splice in there.

Q: Does it fit any Toyota with a small dash blank?
Most of them, but measure first. The switch fits the newer Toyota small aperture and mounts on the left side of the dash. If the factory blank on your side is a larger horizontal shape, use the large or horizontal Toyota switch instead.

Q: Can I use it for suspension seat, tailgate lift or other momentary jobs?
Yes. Any two-direction momentary job fits — air-suspension raise/lower, air-locker fill/vent, tailgate up/down. Rate is 3A per output at 12V, so relay anything drawing more.

Q: How do the LEDs behave?
The blue icon lights whenever the dash light circuit is on — so it stays visible at night. The green text lights up only while the switch is being pressed, so it acts as feedback that the switch is actually sending a signal.

Q: Left or right side — which do I need?
Depends where the factory blank sits in your dash. If your empty aperture is on the left of the steering wheel, order this Left variant. If it is on the right, order the Right variant.

Q: Is it a genuine Toyota part?
No. It is a Lightforce Toyota-style switch built to match the OEM blank and finish. Not made by Toyota.

Q: What is the current rating?
3A at 12V per direction. A typical airbag compressor draws 15–25A, so trigger a relay from the switch and let the relay carry the compressor load on separate high-current terminals.
