A flush panel-mount that puts a 50A Anderson coupler behind a single cut-out. Runs solar leads, aux battery feeds and portable fridge power off a quick disconnect at the bulkhead. Fits caravan cabinets, canopy walls, dash panels and toolbox lids that need a permanent Anderson outlet without a dangling pigtail.

The fascia plate is 42 by 60mm and clips flush into a 40 by 21mm cut-out. A 50A grey Anderson plug ships in the pack so the mating end is ready to wire to the accessory. Overall depth behind the panel is 42mm, so leave that clearance inside the cabinet before drilling.

Grey mates only with other grey 50A Anderson plugs. Fuse the feed at the source, not at the outlet, and size the fuse to the cable, not to the connector rating.

  • Flush fascia — clips in from the front, no bezel.
  • Plug included — 50A grey SB50 ships in the pack.
  • 50A continuous — rated for solar and fridge feeds.
  • Colour keyed — grey mates only with grey.
  • Panel ready — 40 by 21mm cut-out, 42mm depth.
  • Silver contacts — tin-plated for corrosion resistance.

Grey Anderson keys with other grey 50A Anderson plugs only.

Q: What size cut-out does the fascia need?
A 40 by 21mm rectangular hole with 42mm clearance behind for the plug body. Mark the panel from the fascia, drill or jigsaw the hole, then clip the fascia in from the front.

Q: Is a plug included?
Yes. One 50A grey Anderson plug ships in the pack, ready to crimp or solder to the accessory cable that mates to the panel.

Q: Can I use a red or black Anderson plug instead of grey?
No. Grey mates only with grey. Anderson plugs are colour-keyed on purpose so 12V accessories, 24V accessories and different battery banks cannot be cross-connected by accident.

Q: What amperage will it carry?
50A continuous, matched to the included SB50 plug. The cable size behind the panel is what usually limits real-world current, so size cable and fuse to the load, not to the connector's peak rating.

Q: What cable size fits the plug contacts?
SB50 contacts accept 6mm² (10 AWG) cable which is the standard 50A run size. Smaller cable can be used for shorter runs, but always size the fuse to the cable rating.

Q: Does it need a fuse?
Yes. Fuse the feed at the source, at the battery or fuse block, sized to the cable. The connector itself is not a protection device.

Q: Is the panel weather sealed?
The fascia is not IP-rated. Mount it in a location that stays out of direct spray and standing water, such as under an awning, inside a canopy or on a dash face. For open exterior mounts use a hinged cover cap.

Q: What is Anderson-style vs a genuine Anderson connector?
Anderson Power Products invented the SB series. Anderson-style connectors are compatible with the SB50 form factor, mate mechanically and electrically with genuine SB50s, and carry the same 50A rating. Use whichever brand suits the job as long as both sides are the same colour.
