Micro 2 blade fuses in every amperage from 5A through to 30A. A narrower, taller format than the mini blade fuse, used by many late-model European and Asian vehicles in the OEM fuse panel to fit more circuits into a smaller box. Two straight blades and a plastic body, colour-coded to the SAE convention so the rating is legible on the fuse itself. Also called ATR.

Sold individually so you can replace a single blown fuse rather than buying a full kit.

Size guide

Every variant is the same Micro 2 blade fuse (approximately 9mm wide, 3.8mm thick, 15mm tall, with 9mm blade spacing). Pick the amperage by matching the blown fuse in the socket, or by sizing to the smallest cable in the circuit.

Amperage Colour Typical cable Common uses
5A Tan 0.5mm Dash lighting, signal circuits, module standby feeds
7.5A Brown 0.75mm Interior fans, small pumps, low-power ECU feeds
10A Red 1mm OEM aux circuits, radio feeds, small LED strips
15A Blue 1.5mm Reverse cameras, USB banks, aux socket branches
20A Yellow 2mm Heated seats, blower motors, driving-light feed
25A Clear (natural) 2.5mm Heavier accessory branches, high-output LED bar
30A Green 3mm Fuse-block trunk feeds, compressor circuits

Above 30A move to a Maxi blade or a MIDI/MEGA cartridge, not a Micro 2 blade.

Micro 2 (ATR) blade fuse per SAE J2077. Fits any 12V or 24V DC automotive or marine circuit with a Micro 2 fuse socket.
12V and 24V DC systems
48V DC systems (needs a 58V-rated fuse)
240V AC mains, never suitable for household or mains circuits
Mini, standard and low-profile mini sockets, Micro 2 is a smaller narrower body and the sockets are not interchangeable

Q: What does Micro 2 actually mean?
A narrower, taller version of the automotive blade fuse. About 9mm wide with 9mm blade spacing (roughly half a mini blade's footprint), and around 15mm tall. Covered by SAE J2077. Late-model European and Asian vehicles use it to pack more circuits into the fuse panel. Also called ATR.

Q: Will a Micro 2 fit in a mini or standard blade holder?
No. Micro 2 has its own socket footprint. Blade spacing is narrower than a mini or a low-profile mini, so it will not seat in any of those sockets. Where the OEM fuse box uses Micro 2, only Micro 2 fits.

Q: What is the difference between Micro 2 and Micro 3?
Micro 2 has two straight blades and protects a single circuit. Micro 3 has three blades and is used where two circuits share a common feed (typically an ignition-switched pair). The two are not interchangeable, and Micro 3 is the more specialist part.

Q: What do the colours mean?
Standard SAE colours: tan 5A, brown 7.5A, red 10A, blue 15A, yellow 20A, clear 25A, green 30A. Same coding as mini and standard blade fuses, just on the smaller Micro 2 body.

Q: Which amperage do I need?
Match the fuse you are replacing (rating is printed on top). For a new circuit, size the fuse to the smallest cable in the run so it clears before the cable melts: about 5A for 0.5mm, 10A for 1mm, 15A for 1.5mm, 20A for 2mm, 30A for 3mm.

Q: What does fast-acting mean?
The fuse opens the circuit within milliseconds when the current exceeds its rating. That is what you want protecting wiring. Slow-blow (time-delay) fuses are a separate class for motor loads with big inrush, and are not what these are.

Q: Is it safe to use a 32V-rated fuse in a 12V circuit?
Yes. The 32V figure is the voltage ceiling the fuse is tested to interrupt safely, not the operating voltage. As long as the amperage matches the circuit, a 32V-rated fuse works fine on any 12V or 24V DC system.

Q: Can I fit a bigger fuse if this one keeps blowing?
No. A repeatedly blown fuse means either the load exceeds the cable rating or there is a short somewhere. A larger fuse hides the fault long enough for the cable to overheat and start a fire. Find the fault, fix it, then match the fuse to the cable.

Q: Are they reusable?
No. Once the fusible element inside has melted, replace it with a new fuse of the same rating.
