Important note

The Victron Lynx Power In (M10) is a modular DC busbar designed to connect batteries, loads, or chargers to the Lynx DC distribution system. It features a positive and negative busbar with four connections and a ground connection. The M10 version refers to the size of the busbar connection joints between modules, while the fuse and cable connections remain M8.

The Victron Lynx Power In (M10) is a modular DC busbar for connecting batteries, loads and chargers into a common high-current bus within Victron's Lynx Distribution System. It carries positive and negative busbars, each with four connections plus a ground connection, rated to 1000A DC continuous across 12V, 24V and 48V systems.

The "M10" refers to the thread size of the busbar joints connecting Lynx modules to each other — the fuse and cable connections on this unit are M8. It does not contain fuses itself; every connected circuit needs its own external fuse.

  • 1000A DC continuous busbar rating
  • Modular Design — snaps together with other Lynx modules
  • 4 Connections per busbar, plus ground
  • 12/24/48V — one busbar covers all common system voltages
  • Tinned Copper busbar, ABS enclosure

Everything this install needs

12V, 24V or 48V DC systems.
Marine, caravan, off-grid and industrial DC power systems
Works alongside other Lynx modules (e.g. Lynx Smart BMS)
Not a standalone busbar — needs an external fuse on every connected circuit, plus other Lynx modules to complete the system

Q: What is a busbar, and what does the Lynx system actually do?
A busbar is a heavy copper bar that joins several electrical connections into one common point, instead of stacking cables onto a single battery terminal. The Lynx system is Victron's modular way of building that busbar out of snap-together blocks — Power In feeds the bus, other Lynx modules add fusing, monitoring or distribution.

Q: What is the difference between M8 and M10 versions?
The M10 version has larger busbar connection joints (M10) for joining modules together, while the fuse and cable connections stay M8 either way.

Q: Does the Lynx Power In (M10) include fuses?
No. Every load, charger or battery connected to it needs its own external fuse, sized to that circuit.

Q: Can I monitor the system remotely?
The Lynx Power In itself has no monitoring built in, but it integrates with other Lynx modules like the Lynx Smart BMS for remote monitoring.

Q: What does the IP22 rating mean?
IP22 means the enclosure keeps out solid objects larger than 12.5mm (fingers, tools) and light dripping water at up to a 15° tilt. It's not sealed against spray, jets or submersion — mount it in a dry compartment, not an exposed engine bay or bilge.

Q: Why does it carry a 1000A rating when my system draws far less?
The busbar's 1000A rating is the ceiling of what the copper bar itself can carry, not what you have to use. Your actual system current is set by the batteries, chargers and fuses you connect to it — the busbar just needs enough headroom not to be the bottleneck.

Q: What voltage range does this cover?
9-60V DC, which covers 12V, 24V and 48V battery systems.

Q: What warranty does Victron give on this?
A 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, Victron's standard accessory warranty term.
