A four-channel wireless RF relay kit that switches 12V and 24V circuits from a keyfob remote. Runs auxiliary lights, cabin fans, water pumps, awning lights, gate motors and roof-rack accessories without running a fresh control wire back to the dash. Fits 4WDs, caravans, boats, sheds and campsite setups where the switch needs to sit anywhere except at the load.

The receiver takes 6 to 30V DC in and holds four independent relays rated 10A per channel at 30V DC. Each channel is set to its switching mode on the receiver, and LEDs on the receiver mirror channel state. The kit ships with two matched 433MHz keyfob transmitters that pair with the receiver's learn button; more remotes can be added later.

Use the relay contacts to switch a load's fused feed, not to carry it. Rate each load at or under 10A per channel and fuse it at the battery, not at the relay. Do not switch 240V AC mains through this receiver. Mains switching is licensed electrical work under AS/NZS 3000 (EC17073, that's us).

  • Four channels — four relays switch independently
  • 12V and 24V — receiver runs on 6-30V DC in
  • 10A per channel — contacts rated 10A at 30V DC
  • 433MHz RF — around 50m line-of-sight range
  • Two remotes — pair-matched keyfobs included
  • LED feedback — indicators show channel state
  • Programmable — mode selectable per channel
  • Compact receiver — mounts in enclosure or footwell

Q: What does "wireless RF relay" actually mean?
RF stands for radio frequency. The handheld remote sends a coded signal on 433MHz and the receiver flips a relay when it hears its own remote. No cable runs from the switch to the load, so the button can sit anywhere the remote signal reaches.

Q: Will this work on 12V and 24V systems?
Yes. The receiver takes anywhere from 6V to 30V DC on the power input, so a 12V battery, a 24V truck system or a 24V golf-cart supply all run it. Relay contact rating for DC loads is 10A at up to 30V.

Q: How many amps can each channel switch?
Each of the four relay channels is rated 10A. That covers most auxiliary lights, awning lights, cabin fans, small water pumps, gate motors and RV accessory circuits. Anything drawing more than 10A needs a bigger relay downstream, triggered by this receiver's contact.

Q: How far does the remote work from the receiver?
About 50m in open line-of-sight for a 433MHz keyfob of this class. Metal panels, walls and vehicle body shells cut range. Expect 15 to 25m from inside a vehicle back to a receiver mounted under the dash. Mounting the receiver's antenna wire clear of thick metal helps.

Q: Can I pair extra remotes to one receiver?
Yes. The receiver has a learn function that pairs new keyfobs one at a time. The kit ships with two paired at the factory. More can be added later using the receiver's learn button.

Q: Can I make one channel latch on and another one pulse?
Yes. Each channel is set independently on the receiver, so channel 1 can stay latched on for a light while channel 2 pulses momentarily for a gate motor or winch trigger. The printed sheet inside the kit covers the exact mode-select procedure for the shipped batch.

Q: Where should I mount the receiver?
Somewhere dry, out of direct engine heat, and with the antenna wire routed clear of thick metal panels. A cabin footwell, roof lining, under-dash bracket or inside a weatherproof enclosure all work. Do not seal the receiver against a bare metal bulkhead. Metal shielding cuts range hard.

Q: Do I need to fuse the load circuits separately?
Yes. The relay is a switch, not a fuse. Fuse each load at its battery source using the load's own current rating (typical 5A to 10A per light or fan). Never rely on the receiver's own supply fuse to protect a load circuit.

Q: Can I switch 240V AC mains through this?
Not in a permanent install. The relay contact spec includes a small AC rating on paper, but connecting 240V AC to any device in a fixed installation in Australia is licensed electrical work under AS/NZS 3000. We hold licence EC17073 (Building & Energy WA). Bring it to us if that's the job.

Q: What happens if I lose a remote?
The remaining paired remote keeps working. The lost remote can be unlearned from the receiver by clearing memory and re-pairing only the kept remote. A replacement 433MHz keyfob compatible with the receiver's coding pairs back in the same way.
