The REDARC BCDC1220-IGN is a 12V 20A DC-DC battery charger for a 12V auxiliary battery bank, with an ignition-switched input built for modern vehicles with variable-voltage or stop-start smart alternators. The ignition wire tells the charger when the vehicle is running, so it charges reliably even when the alternator voltage drops during cruising.

Multi-stage charging with selectable profiles for AGM, gel, calcium, standard lead-acid and LiFePO4 lithium banks. Under-bonnet rated, fully sealed against water, dust and vibration. Fanless.

Output is 12V. For a 24V system, use the Redarc BCDC2420 instead.
