WHAT'S THE CATCH WITH CHEAPER LITHIUM?

There isn't one on this page. The batteries here are the same LiFePO4 chemistry and BMS as premium brands, priced lower because we skip the reseller chain. We stay away from the no-name imports we've seen swell up and fail in Australian heat.

HOW LONG WILL A LITHIUM BATTERY LAST?

Rated 3000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge — roughly ten years of daily cycling in a canopy or caravan. AGM cycled the same way gets you two to three years before capacity drops off noticeably.

CAN I DROP A LITHIUM STRAIGHT INTO MY AGM SETUP?

Not quite — lithium needs a lithium-specific DC-DC charger, and the alternator wiring often needs a fuse and cable upgrade to handle the higher acceptance rate. An AGM-only charger will underperform. Send us your setup and we'll spec the upgrade.

DO THEY WORK IN COLD TEMPERATURES?

LiFePO4 discharges fine down to -20°C but won't accept a charge below 0°C without damage — the BMS on our batteries blocks charging when the cells are that cold and re-enables it when they warm up. Not an issue in Perth or most of WA.

DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICK UP?

Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and we'll call when your order is ready (usually 1–3 days). Please wait for our confirmation before driving down; we don't stock every SKU on the shelf. Address: 1/6 Radius Loop, Bayswater WA 6053. Open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING TIMES?

Domestic delivery within Australia is typically 2–8 business days depending on carrier and destination. International orders vary 2–30+ business days by country. We don't ship to PO boxes as most couriers don't deliver to them.
