The REDARC BCDC Alpha 25 (BCDC12025B) is a premium 12V 25A DC-DC battery charger for a 12V auxiliary battery bank, with Bluetooth control, MPPT solar input and a 5 year Redarc warranty. Charges from your vehicle's alternator, solar panels, or both at once. Green Power Priority uses solar first to reduce alternator load and save fuel.
Monitor charging state, set the battery profile and check for faults through the Redarc app over Bluetooth. Six charge profiles cover AGM, gel, calcium, standard lead-acid, LiFePO4 lithium and custom setups.
Smart alternator vehicles and multi-charger setups. Our workshop always hardwires an ignition trigger to the charger on late-model vehicles with stop-start or variable-voltage smart alternators, and on any build with more than one BCDC (for example a charger in the vehicle plus a second charger in the caravan) so all chargers only run when the vehicle is running. Ask us if you're unsure whether your vehicle needs this.
Output is 12V. For a 24V system, use the Redarc BCDC2420 instead.
Rated for in-cabin installation. IP67/69K sealed. Designed, built and tested in Australia.
