An in-house fabricated 304 stainless steel bracket that holds a single MEGA fuse holder on the intercooler support of a Toyota 70 Series LandCruiser with the 1VD-FTV V8 turbo-diesel. Bolts to the factory intercooler brace, puts the fuse holder within reach for inspection, and keeps the main battery-to-accessory feed line short and tidy. Fits Workmate and GXL LC76 Wagon, LC78 Troop Carrier and LC79 Ute built 2007 to 09/2023 with the V8.

The bracket is laser-cut from 304 stainless steel so it holds up to engine-bay heat and underbonnet grit without rusting. Mounts to the existing intercooler support bolts, so no new holes go into the body or shell. The face is pre-drilled for the common MEGA bolt-down pattern, so a Redarc, Projecta or generic MEGA holder bolts straight on.

Fuse holder sold separately. Match the MEGA fuse amperage to the circuit the holder is protecting, not to the bracket, and crimp or bolt both terminals clean before the first start. Facelift LC79 utes built from 09/2023 run the 1GD-FTV four-cylinder and don't share this intercooler layout, so this bracket won't fit them.

It's Toyota's 4.5L V8 twin-turbo diesel, fitted to the LC76 Wagon, LC78 Troop Carrier and LC79 Ute from 2007 to September 2023. The pre-facelift 70 Series V8 LandCruisers run this engine, and it has the intercooler and support bracket this part bolts to.

Q: Does it fit a facelift LC79 from 09/2023 onwards?
No. The facelift switched to the 1GD-FTV 2.8L four-cylinder, which has a different intercooler layout and bracket pattern. This bracket won't bolt up.

Q: Will this fit the 1HZ, 1HD-FT or 1HD-FTE 70 Series?
No. The 1HZ and 1HD-FT are naturally aspirated and have no intercooler, and the 1HD-FTE straight-six uses a different intercooler support pattern. V8 1VD-FTV only.

Q: Does it include the MEGA fuse holder?
No, the bracket is sold on its own. Pair it with a MEGA fuse holder (bolt-down type) and the MEGA fuse amperage that matches the circuit you're protecting.
