A bare 304 stainless bracket that mounts two MIDI fuse holders on the battery hold-down bar, keeping the fused feeds for a winch isolator, DC-DC charger, auxiliary battery or fuse block right next to the main battery. Picks up on the existing hold-down studs so no extra drilling is needed. Fits any under-bonnet install where the battery is clamped by a top-bar hold-down.

Comes in two cuts: flush for flat-top batteries where the clamp bar sits level with the terminals, and raised for batteries with vent caps, carry handles or a stepped top where the bar sits higher. Material is 3mm bare 304 stainless, so it stays rust-free in a hot, salt-spray engine bay without a coating that could burn off or chip. Pre-drilled for the standard MIDI/ANS fuse holder mounting footprint, with the two holders sitting side by side on top of the bracket.

Fuse holders bolt on separately. Spec the holders to carry the circuit's actual draw: standard MIDI/ANS runs 30 to 200A at up to 32V DC. For 48V systems or anything above 200A, use ANL or MEGA holders on a different bracket.

Pairs with

  • Bare 304 stainless — rust-free in a hot, salt-spray engine bay
  • 3mm plate — stiff enough to hold two loaded holders flat
  • Hold-down mount — picks up existing studs, no drilling
  • Flush or raised — matches flat-top or stepped batteries
  • Dual MIDI footprint — pre-drilled for standard ANS/MIDI holders
  • Side-by-side layout — keeps both circuits visible for inspection
  • Perth fabricated — cut and drilled in our Australian workshop
  • 3-year warranty — Elevate build warranty against manufacturing defects

Q: What's a MIDI fuse?
MIDI (also called ANS) is a bolt-down automotive fuse rated 30 to 200A at up to 32V DC. Smaller than a MEGA/AMG, bigger than a standard blade. It's the common size for mid-current auxiliary circuits like a winch isolator feed, a DC-DC charger input or an auxiliary fuse block trunk.

Q: Does the bracket come with fuse holders or fuses?
No, this is the bracket only. Pick MIDI holders and fuses to suit your circuit's draw and buy them separately.

Q: What's the difference between the flush and the raised version?
The flush version suits flat-top batteries where the hold-down bar sits level with the terminals. The raised version lifts the holders over vent caps, carry handles or a stepped battery top. If your clamp bar touches the top of the battery, pick flush; if it sits above the top of the battery, pick raised.

Q: Will this fit my battery hold-down?
It picks up on the standard automotive top-bracket hold-down studs used across most 4WDs, utes and dual-battery setups. Check the stud spacing on your existing clamp bar before ordering; the bracket uses the same spacing as the OEM clamp.

Q: Why bare stainless and not powder-coated?
Powder-coat chips, scratches and burns off in a hot engine bay, which is where rust then starts under the paint. Bare 304 stainless is the corrosion resistance itself; a coating would hide the material's whole value.

Q: Will it rust?
304 stainless won't rust from under-bonnet heat, humidity or coastal salt spray in normal road use. Mechanical surface marks from install tools don't compromise the material.

Q: Can I mount other brands of MIDI holders on it?
Yes. The hole pattern matches the standard MIDI/ANS mounting footprint used by Blue Sea, Narva, Projecta, Baintech and generic imports. Any holder sold as a single-position MIDI or ANS holder bolts straight on.

Q: What's the maximum current it can carry?
The bracket itself carries no current. The MIDI fuse holders bolted to it set the limit, up to 200A per holder for standard MIDI/ANS.

Q: Can I install it myself?
Yes. Disconnect the negative terminal, lift the OEM clamp bar off, drop the bracket over the same studs, re-fit the clamp bar, then bolt the fuse holders on. No drilling or cutting needed on a standard install.

Q: Can you install it for me?
Yes, our workshop fits dual-battery and auxiliary circuits as standard. Book a time and we'll do the full install with fuses, cables and holders sized correctly.
