Four-position bolt-down fuse holder for MEGA / AMG fuses, wired together on a bus bar so one incoming feed distributes across all four positions. A fifth, unwired position on the base holds a spare fuse so a blown fuse can be swapped without digging through a parts box. A clear cover shields the terminals and fuses once wired.

MEGA / AMG is a shared bolt-down fuse standard. Any brand's MEGA fuse fits, commonly available from 40A up to 500A, and rated to 32V DC for 12V and 24V DC systems. Two M8 studs per position take standard high-current lug terminals.

Size each fuse to the cable and load on its own circuit, not to the 500A ceiling of the standard. Undersized cable behind an oversized fuse is a fire risk.

MEGA fuses sized to your circuit (not included):

Sizing down

Only fusing one or two circuits off one feed? The two-way version keeps the same bus-bar layout in a smaller footprint:

  • Bus-bar layout — one feed, four fused positions
  • Spare position — built-in slot for a backup fuse
  • Clear cover — see fuse status without removing it
  • MEGA standard — any brand's fuse fits

Q: What's a MEGA / AMG fuse?
MEGA (also sold as AMG in some ranges) is a bolt-down, stud-mount fuse standard used for high-current DC main feeds and heavy branch circuits. Bigger and higher-rated than a blade or MIDI fuse. It's a shared industry form factor, so any brand's MEGA/AMG fuse fits a MEGA-rated holder like this one.

Q: Does it come with fuses?
No. MEGA fuses are sold separately so you can match the amperage to your circuit.

Q: What's the spare position for?
One of the five positions on the base is left unwired, purely for storing a spare fuse of the same rating. If a fuse blows, you can swap in the spare on the spot instead of hunting for a replacement.

Q: Does this split one feed into four circuits, or take four separate inputs?
It's wired as a bus bar. One incoming feed connects to the bar, and the four working positions each fuse a separate outgoing circuit from that same feed. It's a fan-out block, not four independent inputs.

Q: Should I get the 2-way or the 4-way version?
Get the 4-way if you're protecting up to four separate circuits off one feed, like a battery isolator feed splitting to a fridge, a DC-DC charger and a couple of accessory circuits. If you've only got one or two heavy circuits to fuse, the two-way holder does the same job in a smaller footprint.

Q: What amperage MEGA fuse should I use?
Size the fuse to the circuit it protects, not the holder itself. MEGA fuses are available from around 40A up to 500A, and the right amperage depends on the cable size and load downstream. Undersized cable behind an oversized fuse is a fire risk, so size the fuse to protect the cable, not just the load.

Q: Can I use this on a 24V system?
Yes. MEGA fuses are rated 32V DC, which covers 12V and 24V DC systems with margin. It's not rated for 48V DC systems.

Q: What's the cover for?
The clear cover shields the live bus bar and fuse terminals from accidental contact, while still letting you see at a glance whether a fuse has blown without removing it.

Q: How do I mount it?
It bolts down through the base. Check clearance for the cover before final positioning, since it needs to click on over the full bus bar and all four fuse tops.
