A complete 12V power kit that brings battery charging, device switching and system monitoring into one install. The Manager30 charges from the alternator, solar and 240V mains at 30A continuous; the TVMS Prime distribution box runs 10 switched accessory circuits (fridges, water pumps, lights, inverters, electric steps) and reads 6 water-tank levels plus 2 temperature sensors; the RedVision Pro touchscreen puts it all on one 4.3-inch colour screen or the Bluetooth app.

Sits inside caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, 4WD canopies and off-grid builds. Handles lead-acid, calcium, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 chemistries. The Manager30 chassis measures 445 x 186 x 78 mm and weighs 5.5 kg; the distribution box measures 385 x 138 x 58 mm and weighs 2.0 kg. Mains inputs on the Manager30 cover AU 240V AC and 9-32V DC vehicle input, and the MPPT solar regulator accepts 9-30V panel input.

Not for 24V house systems and not for engine-bay installation (both units are rated for cabin, canopy or trailer mounting with airflow around the heatsink). The 240V AC input makes this a Licensed Electrical Contractor install on the mains side under AS/NZS 3000 — bring it to us (EC17073, Building & Energy WA) or use any qualified sparky for the final 240V connection. The DC side is auto-electrical and can be done by an auto electrician.

What sets it apart

Three charge sources — alternator, solar and 240V mains all feed one battery bank.

Green Power Priority — favours free solar input over mains or alternator when sun is available.

10 switched circuits — 5 x 30A plus 5 x 10A outputs for fridges, pumps, lights and inverters.

6 water-tank inputs — fresh, grey and black levels on the one screen.

5 battery chemistries — lead-acid, calcium, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 charge profiles built in.

Bluetooth app — live monitoring and control on iOS or Android via RedVision.

Load-disconnect control — protects the house battery from over-discharge automatically.

Made in Australia — designed and built at Redarc's Lonsdale, South Australia facility.

Mount the Manager30 and the distribution box in a cabin, canopy or trailer location with 50mm of clear air around the heatsink. Both units handle vibration but not underbonnet heat, so neither goes in the engine bay. Keep them off a floor that collects water and above any area that may hold fuel vapour.

The DC side (vehicle input, battery output, solar input, device channels) is auto-electrical and can be installed by an auto electrician. Fuse the vehicle input at the start battery, run 6mm² or heavier cable to the Manager30, then 6mm² from the Manager30 to the house battery with a 40A ANL or MIDI fuse at the house battery end.

The 240V AC mains side is a licensed-electrician job under AS/NZS 3000. Elevate is a Licensed Electrical Contractor (EC17073, Building & Energy WA) — bring it to our Perth workshop for the full install, or use any qualified sparky for the final 240V connection. The RedVision touchscreen and the Smart Battery Monitor shunt both connect via supplied harnesses to the distribution box.

After power-up, run the RedVision Configurator app once to label the ten output channels (fridge, water pump, lights, etc.), pick the battery chemistry profile, and set tank-full calibration points. The configuration saves to the distribution box, so if the display is ever replaced the setup is retained.

RedVision Configurator Tech Tip

complete 12V battery management + power distribution kit for caravans, campers, 4WDs and off-grid rigs
12V DC house systems
Caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, 4WD canopies, off-grid builds
Alternator + solar + 240V mains charging into one battery bank
24V house systems (Manager30 output is 12V only)
Engine-bay install (distribution box rated for cabin, canopy or trailer, not engine bay)

Q: What does a battery management system (BMS) actually do?
It brings three jobs under one roof: it charges the house battery from whichever source has power at the time (alternator while driving, 240V mains when plugged into shore power, or solar when the sun's out), it protects the battery from over-discharge and over-voltage, and it switches your accessory circuits (fridges, pumps, lights) on and off from one screen. Instead of a separate DC-DC charger plus a separate inverter-charger plus a separate fuse block plus a separate monitor, the Manager30 kit does all of it from one install.

Q: What's MPPT solar tracking?
Maximum Power Point Tracking — the Manager30 constantly adjusts how it loads the solar panels so they stay at their peak output voltage. On a 150W panel in real conditions this is 20-30% more usable charge than a basic PWM regulator, especially in part-shade or cold weather. No separate solar controller needed.

Q: What's Green Power Priority?
When the sun's up and the panels are producing, the Manager30 uses solar input first and backs off the mains or alternator charge. It's automatic and runs in the background. Saves fuel on the road and shore-power dollars on sites with metered 240V.

Q: Will it charge a LiFePO4 (lithium) battery?
Yes — LiFePO4 is one of the five built-in chemistry profiles (lead-acid, calcium, gel, AGM, LiFePO4). Pick the right chemistry during setup and the charge curve is handled correctly. Note the Manager30 output is 12V only, so pair it with a 12V LiFePO4 battery, not a 24V bank.

Q: How many accessories can I run through it?
Ten switched outputs plus one dedicated inverter channel. The ten splits as five 30A circuits (fridge, water pump, inverter branch, high-draw lights) and five 10A circuits (interior lights, charging ports, fans, small electronics). The total house-load current across all channels is capped at 80A.

Q: Does it have Bluetooth?
Yes. The Manager30 pairs to the RedVision app on iOS or Android for live monitoring of battery voltage, state of charge, charger input, tank levels and temperatures, and lets you switch outputs from the app. The 4.3-inch in-vehicle touchscreen does the same thing on the dash or wall panel.

Q: Can I monitor water tanks and temperatures?
Six water-tank sensor inputs (fresh, grey and black on a typical caravan, with headroom for additional tanks) and two temperature sensor inputs (fridge, cabin or battery). Sensor probes are sold separately — Redarc's TVMSDBWK-001 kit covers one tank; buy multiples for more.

Q: Does the 240V AC side need a licensed electrician?
Yes. Under AS/NZS 3000, mains-voltage installation and connection has to be done by a licensed electrician. We hold the WA licence (EC17073, Building & Energy) and can do the install at our Perth workshop, or you can use any qualified sparky for the mains leg. The DC side (battery, alternator feed, solar input, device outputs) is auto-electrical and an auto electrician can do it.

Q: Will it fit in the engine bay?
No. Both the Manager30 and the distribution box are rated for cabin, canopy or trailer mounting with airflow around the heatsink. Underbonnet temperatures and vibration exceed what they're built for — install location affects warranty.

Q: How long is the warranty?
2 years against manufacturing defects, covered by Redarc. Install by a qualified installer keeps the warranty intact.

Q: Is it made in Australia?
Yes. Redarc designs and manufactures the Manager30 and the TVMS Prime at their Lonsdale facility in South Australia.
