A relay and fuse circuit-protection kit from Elevate Automotive (SKU KIT-RELAYHUBFUSES, 12V or 24V) sized to populate the EGON Relay-Hub with everything it doesn't ship with. Runs five Britax 40A automotive relays across the hub's 5 x 25A switched outputs, covers seven blade fuse ratings for the output circuits, and adds an 80A maxi fuse and holder for the main supply feed.

Relay coils come in 12V or 24V to match the vehicle's system voltage; the switched contacts, fuses and holder work across both. Britax 40A relays give headroom over the Relay-Hub's 25A output rating, so a fuse blows before contact life takes a hit.

What's in the kit

Five Britax 40A 5-pin normally-open relays. Twenty-one standard blade fuses, three of each in 3A, 5A, 7.5A, 10A, 15A, 20A and 25A, covering the Relay-Hub's five output circuits and its 3A switch-power fuse with spares. One maxi fuse holder with two 80A maxi fuses for the main supply input.

Sized to the EGON Relay-Hub only

Fuse counts and relay coil voltage match the Relay-Hub's published spec, not a general-purpose relay/fuse assortment. The Relay-Hub itself ships separately from Egon.

Need the hub itself?

  • Complete Kit — relays and fuses populate the Relay-Hub
  • Britax Relays — 5 x 40A 5-pin, normally open
  • Full Fuse Set — 3A to 25A blade plus 80A maxi
  • Voltage Matched — 12V or 24V relay coils

Universal
Relay and fuse kit sized to populate the EGON Relay-Hub in 12V or 24V vehicle, marine, camper and off-grid power distribution builds. Pick the 12V kit for a 12V vehicle's relay coils, the 24V kit for a 24V vehicle. Not vehicle-specific; fits wherever the Relay-Hub is installed.
EGON Relay-Hub (5 × 25A switched outputs, 80A main input)
12V DC vehicle, marine and off-grid systems (12V kit variant)
24V DC vehicle, truck and heavy-vehicle systems (24V kit variant)
Not sized for other relay or fuse hub brands; fuse and relay counts match the Relay-Hub's own circuit layout

Q: Is this an Egon-made product?
No. Egon sells the Relay-Hub itself but not a bundled relay/fuse kit, their own installation guide says relays and fuses are sold separately. We put this kit together using quality third-party components (Britax relays, standard blade and maxi fuses) sized to match the Relay-Hub's own published specification, so you don't have to source everything piece by piece.

Q: Does the Relay-Hub come with relays and fuses already fitted?
No. The Relay-Hub ships with the hub unit, bracket and cover only. This kit is what you need to actually populate it.

Q: What's the difference between the 12V and 24V kits?
Only the relay coil voltage. A relay's switched contacts don't care about system voltage, but the coil that pulls the relay in does, a 12V coil relay won't reliably pull in on 24V and vice versa. Fuses in the kit are identical either way.

Q: Why does the kit include so many different fuse ratings?
The Relay-Hub's 5 outputs are rated to 25A each, but your actual loads will be smaller, a 5A fridge circuit shouldn't run a 25A fuse. The assortment lets you fuse each circuit to the load actually connected, plus the Relay-Hub's own 3A switch-power circuit, with spares left over.

Q: Why is there an 80A maxi fuse and holder in a kit full of small blade fuses?
The Relay-Hub's main supply input is rated to 80A and Egon's own installation guidance calls for an external fuse on that main feed, the standard blade fuses only protect the smaller output circuits. The maxi fuse and holder cover that main-input requirement.

Q: Is a 40A relay overkill for a 25A circuit?
No, it's healthy headroom, not overkill. Running a relay near its rated limit shortens its life through heat; sizing the relay above the fuse rating (40A relay, 25A fuse) means the fuse blows before the relay contacts are stressed.

Q: Can I buy extra fuses or relays separately later?
Yes. Standard blade fuses, maxi fuses and 5-pin automotive relays are all stocked individually if you need more than what's in this kit.

Q: Does this kit carry Egon's warranty on the Relay-Hub?
No, that's a separate product with its own warranty. This kit's components are covered by our standard 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.
