A companion fuse kit that populates the EGON DC Hub's fuse slots and covers the mandatory battery-side main fuse Egon calls for in its install guide. Suits any 12V or 24V dual-battery build in a 4WD, caravan, camper trailer or boat that runs the EGON DC Hub as the accessory-side distribution.

The bundle carries a MEGA holder plus two 150A MEGA fuses (one fitted, one spare) for the battery-side main, an assortment of 40A to 80A Maxi blade fuses for the hub's three large slots, 5A to 25A Standard blade fuses for the hub's ten small slots, and an extra inline Maxi holder for a branch circuit run outside the hub. 48 pieces total with at least one spare of every rating.

Size each fuse to its own circuit's real current draw and the wire feeding it, not the biggest rating in the kit. Egon's install guide worked example: a 60A DC-DC gets two 30A fuses split across two large-slot positions, not a single 60A fuse.

⚠ Do not: run 80A fuses in the inline Maxi holder that comes with this kit. It is cable-rated to 60A only, so an 80A fuse will not blow before the holder's own leads overload. Use the DC Hub's onboard large slots for 80A loads instead.

Q: Does the EGON DC Hub come with fuses fitted?
No. Egon ships the DC Hub empty, you select and fit your own Maxi and Standard ATO fuses to match each circuit's load, plus a separate main fuse at the battery.

Q: Is this an official EGON product?
No. This is Elevate's own bundle, sized to typical EGON DC Hub installs, it isn't sold or documented by EGON, whose DC Hub doesn't ship with a matching fuse kit of its own.

Q: How many fuse positions does the DC Hub have?
Three large slots (Maxi/Mega blade type) and ten small slots (Standard ATO blade type), all supplied empty.

Q: Do I still need a separate main fuse at the battery?
Yes. Egon's own install guide calls for an external main fuse at the battery, this kit's MEGA holder and 150A fuses are sized for exactly that job.

Q: Can I use the included 80A Maxi fuse in the kit's inline Maxi holder?
No. The inline Maxi holder in this kit is cable-rated to 60A. An 80A fuse will not blow before the holder's own leads overload. Use the DC Hub's onboard large slots for the 80A fuse instead.

Q: What size fuse do I need for each circuit?
Match the fuse to the actual current draw of that circuit and the wire gauge feeding it, not the biggest one in the kit. Egon's own install guide gives a worked example: a 60A DC-DC charger gets two 30A fuses split across its two large-slot positions.

Q: Can I buy extra or replacement fuses individually later?
Yes, Standard, Maxi and Mega fuses are all available separately if you need to top up a rating this kit runs light on.

Q: What's the difference between Mega, Maxi and Standard blade fuses?
They're different physical sizes for different current ranges, Mega is the largest bolt-style body for very high current; Maxi is a mid-size blade for 20 to 100A circuits; Standard (ATO/ATC) is the common blade size for lower-current accessory circuits. They aren't interchangeable, the DC Hub uses Maxi and Standard on-board, plus an external Mega at the battery.

Q: How do I know if a fuse has blown?
Standard and Maxi blade fuses have a visible element strip, check for a break, or test continuity with a multimeter across the terminals with the circuit isolated. Mega fuses are checked the same way at their terminals.
