Twin ANL cartridge holder for two independent high-current circuits in a single housing. Two ANL fuses, each with its own pair of M8 studs, share a compact mounting footprint. A clear cover keeps terminals free of dust and stops accidental shorts.

Suits dual-battery installs where the main and the auxiliary each need their own ANL protection, split trunk feeds from a single alternator, or a pair of high-current inverter feeds. Any brand of ANL cartridge fits. Blue Sea, Littelfuse, Cooper Bussmann and commodity ANL all share the 89mm stud footprint.

Size

155 x 44 x 74mm, 0.1kg. Two pairs of M8 studs on 89mm centres to match the standard ANL footprint.

Fits

Any ANL cartridge fuse from 100A to 500A. Rated for 12V and 24V DC systems. For LiFePO4 primary-battery-side protection use a Class T holder instead. Standard ANL cannot safely clear the short-circuit current of a lithium bank.

Related in our range

  • Two circuits — independent protection on each
  • Clear safety cover — terminals protected from shorts
  • Bolt-down design — takes any ANL cartridge fuse
  • 89mm stud centres — standard ANL footprint

Twin ANL cartridge fuse holder for two independent high-current circuits.
12V DC vehicle systems
24V DC vehicle systems
Dual-battery mains protection (one fuse per battery)
Split alternator sub-feeds, twin inverter feeds, twin heavy-current auxiliary trunks
Any brand of ANL cartridge (Blue Sea, Littelfuse, Cooper Bussmann, commodity)
240V AC mains. This is a DC-rated automotive holder. Mains-voltage installation must be done by a licensed electrician (Elevate is EC17073 licensed)
Primary battery-side on LiFePO4 banks. Standard ANL can't safely clear a lithium short-circuit; use a Class T holder
Currents below 100A per circuit. Use MEGA (40 to 300A) or MIDI (30 to 150A) holders instead

Q: What does ANL actually mean?
ANL is the marine-industry name for a bolt-down cartridge fuse on 89mm stud centres, originally standardised for boat electrical systems where high current and long time-delay were needed to survive alternator inrush without nuisance-tripping. Ceramic body, time-delay response, sized for currents from 100A up to 500A. Same physical part is sold as ANL by every brand.

Q: What fuses fit this holder?
Any ANL cartridge from 100A to 500A. Blue Sea, Littelfuse, Cooper Bussmann and commodity ANL all share the 89mm stud footprint. Our own ANL fuses fit this holder:
[series-of-anl-fuses]

Q: Can I run two different amperages, one per circuit?
Yes. Each circuit is independent, so one side can carry a 150A fuse and the other a 300A fuse. Size each fuse to the cable and load on its own circuit.

Q: Are the fuses included?
No, the fuses are sold separately so you can pick the amperage for each circuit.

Q: When should I use ANL vs MEGA?
ANL covers 100A to 500A on 89mm M8 stud centres and is physically larger. MEGA covers 40A to 300A on 44mm M8 stud centres and is more compact. Pick MEGA up to about 300A; move to ANL for higher currents or where the marine-industry ANL form factor is preferred. See the single-circuit MEGA option:
[mega-fuses-fuse-holder-with-cover]

Q: Can I use this on a LiFePO4 primary battery?
Not recommended. Standard ANL cannot safely interrupt the short-circuit current of a lithium bank (tens of kiloamps). Use a Class T fuse and holder on the primary battery side of any LiFePO4 install. ANL is fine on the load side of a Class T, or on non-lithium systems.

Q: What size cable should I use?
Match the cable to the fuse amperage. Starting guide: 100A/16mm², 150A/25mm², 200A/35mm², 250A/50mm², 300A/70mm², 500A/95mm² or larger. Terminate with tin-plated copper lugs and torque the M8 nuts to the manufacturer's spec.

Q: Can I connect the two circuits together to double the capacity?
No. The two circuits are separate by design and are not sized to share current. If you need more than one fuse worth of current, step up to a larger ANL, or add a second holder and split at the bus bar.

Q: Is the housing waterproof?
Not IP-rated by the supplier. The clear cover keeps out dust and stops accidental shorts, but the body is not sealed against water ingress. Mount in a dry, protected location.

Q: Can I use this on 240V AC mains?
No, this is a DC-rated automotive holder. Mains-voltage installation must be done by a licensed electrician under AS/NZS 3000. Elevate is EC17073 licensed (Building & Energy WA) if you need the work done.
