Inline MAXI blade fuse holder with sealed weatherproof cap, heavy-duty crimped terminals at each end for wiring straight into a positive feed cable. Rated 32V DC and carries up to 80A for auxiliary battery feeds, DC-DC charger inputs and mid-current runs on 12V and 24V systems. Inferred from product design, not visually confirmed this run.

Weatherproof inline holder for a single MAXI blade fuse, wired directly into a positive feed cable. A sealed cap over the fuse and heavy-duty crimped terminals at each end keep out moisture and dust, so it suits engine-bay, chassis-rail and marine mounting where an exposed blade holder would corrode or short.

MAXI is a blade fuse standard, physically larger than a standard blade and rated to 32V DC. This holder carries up to 80A, which covers auxiliary battery feeds, DC-DC charger inputs, driving-light circuits and other mid-current runs. Match the fuse amperage to the cable and load downstream, not to the 80A ceiling.

You'll also need

MAXI blade fuses sized to your circuit (not included):

Higher-current alternatives

If your feed pulls more than 80A, step up to a bolt-down MEGA holder:

  • Weatherproof cap — seals out moisture and dust
  • Inline design — joins straight into the feed cable
  • 80A ceiling — fits mid-current auxiliary feeds
  • Heavy terminals — crimped for a low-resistance joint
  • 32V DC rated — covers 12V and 24V systems

Inline MAXI holder for 12V and 24V DC systems.
12V and 24V DC systems (32V DC fuse rating)
80A ceiling suits mid-current auxiliary feeds, DC-DC charger inputs, driving-light circuits
48V DC systems (use a 58V-rated fuse holder instead)
LiFePO4 primary side (use a Class T fuse instead)

Q: What does MAXI actually mean, and how is it different from a standard blade fuse?
MAXI is a blade-style fuse standard, physically larger than a standard ATC/ATO blade and rated for higher current. Standard blade fuses top out around 30A; MAXI fuses run from 20A to about 100A. The blades sit further apart and the fuse body is bigger, so a MAXI won't fit a standard blade fuse holder and vice versa.

Q: Does it come with a fuse?
No. MAXI fuses are sold separately so you can pick the amperage that matches your circuit.

Q: What amperage MAXI fuse should I use?
Size the fuse to protect the cable and load downstream, not to the 80A ceiling of the holder itself. If your circuit's cable is only rated for 40A, put a 40A fuse in, even if the holder can carry 80A. Undersized cable behind an oversized fuse is a fire risk.

Q: What cable size should I use with it?
Match the cable to the fuse amperage, not the holder. Rough automotive figures at short runs: 40A wants around 8mm² (roughly 8 AWG), 60A wants 13mm² (roughly 6 AWG), 80A wants 16mm² (roughly 5 AWG). Longer runs need thicker cable to keep voltage drop under control.

Q: Can I mount this in the engine bay or under a vehicle?
Yes, the sealed cap and heavy-duty terminals suit under-bonnet and chassis-rail mounting. Route the cable so water doesn't pool at the seal, and if the mount vibrates a lot, secure the body with a zip tie or cable clamp to stop it flexing at the terminal crimps.

Q: Can I use this on a 24V system?
Yes. MAXI blade fuses are rated 32V DC, which covers 12V and 24V DC systems with margin.

Q: Can I use this on a 48V system or with a LiFePO4 battery?
Not for 48V systems, MAXI is 32V DC only. For a 48V DC system use a 58V-rated fuse holder. On the primary side of a LiFePO4 bank use a Class T fuse instead, as MAXI and MEGA fuses can't safely clear the tens of kiloamps a lithium short-circuit can produce.

Q: Why pick this over a bolt-down MEGA or ANL holder?
The inline form factor is smaller and easier to fit into a wiring loom or under a dash, since it becomes part of the cable run rather than needing a mounting surface. Bolt-down MEGA and ANL holders are the better call when you need a fixed distribution point with several circuits fanning out, or when the amperage goes above 80A.

Q: Does the housing come with a warranty?
12 months against manufacturing defects.
